  • This is amazing! Its so different from the one on SBB, yet very much alike.

  • they made finaly two songs out of it:

    1. Far too hard (b-site of in too deep)

    2. Misty Circles (b-site of YSMRR)

  • @Barschflockati well the tracks you talk about where on the debut, so a bit older than just b sides to ITD and You Spin Me.. :-)

  • No it isn't a Deep Purple thing that I am referring to. Especially since I own the CD.

Pro-Sonic - CBS Cat#52369 Non Stop Productions. They recorded this version of Misty Circles parts 1-2 for John Peel on 1, March 1982.

  • Over this land, over this wasteland...

  • This did get released on a bootleg promo 2 CD set, called "Before Time Began" in 2001. But no officiall release of this song ever came out. In fact this is still an edited version of the 15 minute version they would perform live at shows. Also it is still split as two parts. I think this is the first time I have ever heard this with out the fade in and fade out.

  • @8301969 Think it a Deep Purple thing you are referring to,cant find anything on it being a DOA bootleg!

  • an aggressive nature does not make a weaker man a gladiator...

  • Amazing! I had no idea this was an earlier DOA track. The more recognisable 'version' doesn't kick in til halfway through. Brilliant. Thank you so so so much!!!

  • WOW. Awesome track. I wish they'd release a CD of rare early Dead or Alive tracks! This is fantastic. It doesn't sound the least bit dated.

  • WONDERFUL MUSIC!

  • Sounds very retro and to me it also sounds like a very influenced version the The Smiths would have had an input in (remembering at the time Pete Burns and the then un-known Morissey were best friends) but I still have to admit,...this is a fantastic version...I know of Pete Burns personally and it's true,..he really IS a c*nt,but you can't help but adore him,lol...(most untrustworthy;-)

  • one word: masterpiece!!!

  • I adore this version, it's so stunningly pretty. Sigh *

  • dreamy

  • part2 is very similar to the 7inch

  • As far as I know no official CD was ever released for this version.

  • its nice!!

  • was this before steve coy joined them?

  • At least I know they recorded this without Steve Coy playing.
