@TheLionandlamb1901 what he is doing, is what most (i think) would call "legato" this word means smooth. when talking about guitar, this usually refers to hammer ons and pull offs, this is when you hear or play a note that is not picked with the right, or picking hand. when you practice, make sure your notes sound clearly and smoothly, while controlling distortion and unwanted sound
