I thought I was looking at a Corvette ZR1. You would think Ferrari could come up with a more original design than to copy an American supercar. I am flattered, however, that they think that highly of the Corvette to design an almost carbon copy of a corvette. Look at a side view of both and you will see the many many similarities.
@k2500nii the ferrari 599 came out about the same time as the C6 corvette... there was no zr1 when this car was designed. and if you put these 2 cars together, the only similarity is the fact that its a front mid engined car.

@gruhonjic want to know how many times they had to make the veyron? they made the Veyron, the Veyron Grand sport, the Veyron supersport, and then there gonna come out with the uber super-duper sport and it will only be a mile an hour faster. next, it needs 4+ miles to get to the top speed, already starting at 120 mph. sure, the GT is not production, BUT, it can do 0-270 mph in ONE MILE. ONE. NOT FOUR. and want to know how many models where were? ONE.

Kit cars are generally much faster than production cars, that's because they are enthusiast cars; however, they are also produced in small volume. @machinegunboy98 The Bugatti never was the fastest "street legal rocket." However, the Bugatti is absolutely pure luxury, which ultimately weighs it down. It is also provided with a warranty, and the Hennessey is not. That's the big difference! The Hennessey cannot compare to the Bugatti because I can guarantee you that the Venom will break down miles before the Bugatti, I can also guarantee you the ride will be crap compared to the Bugatti. Like I said, I might as well have a shopping cart...

@gruhonjic no, the problem is, the bugatti is what? 1,5 million USD? you could buy SEVEN and still have like 150k left over. and how dare you say ford is "crap" just because it isn't from europe does not make it bad.... @gruhonjic they made a dutch car. made only 15 for one year. i can ASSURE you there are more than 15 Heennessey GT's out there per year that that. and that was a "production" car even with only 15 examples made. i've seen custom cars with 1,500 horse, and there is one on my channel. they could do 215 in fifth (of six) gear, without fucking with the transmission, and now he has a bigger engine. so, he can probably nail one right at 268 if that's your "magic" number.

Production is a magic word though, if it wasn't for that word I could make a shopping cart break the land speed record, I just need a big enough engine. Also, notice how I never claimed anything but the Bugatti being the fastest *production* car. Since the Venom GT isn't a production car though, they shouldn't be chasing the Bugatti at 267, they should be aiming for the Thrust SSC at 763 mph.
