Man, when you had crappy graphics... you REALLY had to be creative on your advertisements which is why 90% of the commercials of the 80's rely highly on creativity and don't show any gameplay footage. Nowadays, it's almost all gameplay footage.

@Faybro I agree with you in part but in those times there wasn't too much to "talk about" in those games. read my previous comment, contemporary times makes cover games less interesting that the game itself, in other words, old cover games used to talk a lot about the game, trying that your "own" imagination do to rest. Nowadays thanks new technologies kids stopped imagining because they already have all in the powerful games you can find in any store today, even much better plots than movies.
