  • Whoa, Ray certainly doesn't adhere to the "safe axe technique" he instructs on another video..

  • Carharrt jeans and a cowboy hat. yep, he's in America.

  • 0 people were eaten by wolves!

  • They kill the wolves to control the population, not because they eat animals and livestock. If they let wolf populations baloon it would do severe damage to the local ecosystem. Wolves were only reintroduced to that area relatively recently after a long period of the ecosystem adapting to not having these predators present. Conservation does include killing all sorts of animals, no matter how distasteful that might be to some people.

  • @Snipe4261 I live in Montana and I have to say thats not true. Its greedy ranchers that get mad about losing a couple calves. wolves were here first, people need to respect that or there won't be any amazing things like this anymore.I'm not a hippie either, I just believe in respecting nature.

  • @xxxkilla37 I live in northern Idaho and I say it is true. There is an unfortunate conflict but we have to look after our own interests while still keeping in mind that we have a responsibility to nature. Our responsibility to nature dictates that we shouldn't be trying to wipe out wolves any more but our responsibility to our own interests requires that we not tolerate wolves that predate on livestock because there are too many wolves and too few elk or because the wolves wander too far.

  • @xxxkilla37

92% of the winter diet of the grey wolves introduced to Yellowstone is Elk. 45% of all elk deaths in Yellowstone can be attributed to the grey wolf. Since the introduction of grey wolves to Yellowstone the population of elks in Yellowstone has greatly declined.

Considering that 92% of the grey wolf winter diet is elk, and that elk numbers are declining one has to conclude that you either control the wolf population or they'll starving to death soon.
