@michael12170 Not even close to being the case, this was in a mostly Kurdish area that was very quiet and very friendly. The parents are there but had a good enough relationship with us that we had a mutual trust and respect for each other. We looked after these kids like they were our own and wanted nothing but the best for them. You can stop your pointless "I watch the news so I know it all" blathering any time now.

I haven't logged on recently, amazed at the comments I have missed. This was a simple thing, a simple time. We enjoyed spending time with the Iraqi children and if we had excess, we were more than happy to share them. We got boxes and boxes of tooth brushes, we didn't need them and they did. simple as that, lighten up everyone whos "hatin" :-p I was there, and I am going back in a few weeks. I am very eager to see the changes and hopefully advances in the last 3 years since I left.
