I think two of the criteria Subaru FWT uses for judging are fluidity and control. This takes into account turning. It is pretty impossible to link pretty turns on a 50-55 degree slope, with rocks sticking out and hiding everywhere. Not to mention by the time these guys get on the face, the ruts are one or two feet deep, which makes it pretty hard to look pretty.

I love this sport and awesome job... but the turns aren't weighed heavy enough. If your arms are flailing and your tails are skidding you shouldn't score well. I watch all the FWT on live stream and when I make my non-skier friends watch they are like WTF these guys can't ski (which, obviously, isn't true). The points for turns need to be at least tripled to fix this I think. I think FWT should be scored the same way a run for MSP or TGR is "scored". Check out sage's run from the last FWT!
