i remember when this ship came to Reykjavík port it was going to england if i remember right i got to go on a grand tour of the ship but i forgot my camera that suckt but im not gona forget it any time soon it was a marvelus sight.

Thanks for the update about her being painted. I always think of her as white so will now have to look out for her looking a little like Kruzchy (nickname)
Sedov is black since she has been used for the german movie "Untergang der Pamir". The russian liked the painting, so they didn't repaint the ship again.
(That kind of painting had been used by the german shipowner Ferdinand Laiesz).

Everyone should sail with a ship like this at least once...
I had the honor of spending some time on the Sedov as a trainee and I had a blast!
The weather was phantastic, sunshine and a lot of wind... she's alot faster than she looks!
There's nothing like it, no speed boat or cruise ship can ever compare to that experience
She's still a beauty even if I prefer her white painting :)
