hello! How are you? I love the layout and the videos Excellent job. I was wondering how you got the sounds for the air couplers the wheels skreaching and clanking I have seen several videos with this sound and have not figured how they done it.
those sounds, sounds like Chicago Transit Authority 6000 or 1 thru 50 series cars turning on the Chicago Loop. I miss those sounds and riding those old el cars. I might get a Athearn Genesis SD-70M in ARR. Run that in Pool power with my ZGM and CP coal trains.
Alright ARR! im not from alaska but im living in Anchorage alaska rite now. very beautiful place. And again great job on the video you always do a good job on them. so no season 3 yet damn!! lol 5stars!!!
MY GOD!!! I just watched all your videos and I can not believe what I've seen. I wanted to pleasure myself while watching!! You really out did yourselfs in the story lines, camera, editing, narration etc. Congratulations to all that partisipated in making these "Classic" videos that will live on youtube forever. I have one question, are you guys planning on making a steam version? Thank You. Adrian
Well, I have all of my trains checked out, properly running... Except my MNT B40-8W which awaits a new Soundtraxx Tsunami decoder. Otherwise I have the green light from the LLRC to film.
Great Video. Sad to know that the layout is now a thing of the past. Will look out for when you have your new layout in place.
By the way: how far in Canada/US can Alaska RailRaod pick up cars? are there any connection between ARR and CP/CN or some regional railroad in NorthWestern Canada ?
There is no actual rail link....yet. The ARR in prototype recives its cars by a rail barge. But I wanted to feature the ARR in TAA so in this world the rail link is there.
Uh... don't you have to go through CN, CP, or BCR before hitting ARR?

@BNSFandSP Nope, its called a barge, there is no rail link to Alaska

I live about a block from the El. And even though my hubby and roommates complain about the noise at night, I don't. It's awesome.

i would think that the arr gets it from the cp

The ARR interchanges cars with the BNSF and UP out of Seattle, and the CN out of Vancouver andPrince George I think.
