I think you should go to the nether and get some glowstone. Maybe make the underground room your nether entrance. I'd also like to see you try out some mods. Also I recommend for your farm in the mushroom house thing, that underneath the layer of dirt you place a layer of water, and the. A layer of cobble under that. This will keep your farm watered and prevent the water from freezing over.

The Observatory. It can be your watch tower/ panic room with a Doomsday button that's connected to a TNT load buried underneath your house and farm, should you find yourself fleeing from a mob of monsters too big for you to fight hand to hand. Arrows work too, but they're so... easy.

ALSO, with that cave. It could be you're hub and storage area with a railway complex underneath. I myself am working on having a railway clean-out system, with pistons oriented to smash monsters to dust :3
