What hate filled statements??? The only hate filled anything I see are the shitholes that MURDERED mattew shepard. This song is a tribute to him, not them.. Duh. Get a clue. No one, gay, straight, bi, whatever deserves to DIE the way matthew did, in freezing temperatures, with no shoes on, crucified on a fence. Matthew's attackers should have to spend their final moments the same way he did. I didn't know him, but my heart still breaks over the loss of his life.

Dit is zo mooi... Goed dat het verhaal van Matthew zo ook hier in Europa wat meer aandacht krijgt, want dit soort dingen kunnen echt niet. Jaren gelden heb ik ooit de film gezien. Het is gewoon gruwelijk, hij is nog bij bewustzijn geweest, hij heeft gehuild - want dat was de enige 'propere' huid die nog te zien was onder het gedroogde bloed -, hij heeft daar gewoon bijna een hele dag gelegen...
