@rem2267 Yes you are right : Get the hell out but this was the 70's and most people were still deeply conservative, putting up with all sorts of things in the name of politeness. No (married) man in his right mind would let himself alone with someone else's daughter like that but at the time, the greater offence would have been to walk out.

@PhilJonesIII -- Thank God the 70's are long gone. I was born in '68, and there were so many pics my dad would take for us, and my sister and I both CRINGE. O, the Fashion, O The Day-Glo winter jackets. But the forever-clashing plaid  was the worst.
