I had a pretty close call the other day, and I, in true Mordeth fashion chased the perpetrator and informed him that should he continue to ride in an unsafe manner that he was likely to befall a serious accident. It's interesting to see how pets act and in return are treated in other countries. I was in Ireland about a month ago and all the dogs I met were all off leash and still so well behaved and no though anything of have one wander It the house I was staying or the pub next door (same Irish wolf hound, wandered all over).
You notice the jerk drivers and coment on them about as much as I do. I live out in the woods and there is a gated development not far from me where hundreds of U.S. Army people live. They constantly pass in the curves with double yellow (no passing) stripes. I can drive to L.A. from my place out here in the Washington woods (aprox.. 1200 miles) [1931Km] and never once go across the centerline or fog line. I could even do it after drinking a huge can of Fosters every hour for the 19.5 hours.
I try to stay in my own lane, but I've had a couple of corners where I was coming in too hot and drifted into the oncoming lane. Fortunately there wasn't a car coming those times, but that was good luck.
i drive a car and my close calls were 1) i went round a bend waaay to fast and a car was coming and i literally stopped like an inch away from him, and 2) i was overtaking a van but he was speeding up and there was an oncoming car coming so i had to slam on my brakes, locked them up and hit the right curb (i live in UK so we drive on the left) i probably skidded for like 40m haha destroyed my 2 front tyres but luckily made it unharmed

OMG i was driving today, and in on my L's (driving a car) through a blind corner. Since i didnt know what was comin up, i slowed down. And the asshole behind me beeped and yelled at me. I will never drive again! (at least not for a week now :( )

I had a pretty close call the other day, and I, in true Mordeth fashion chased the perpetrator and informed him that should he continue to ride in an unsafe manner that he was likely to befall a serious accident. He didn't understand any English, but I think he got the point because as I spoke his mouth made a perfect little o and his eyes became big O's. I guess I speak internationalese.

It's odd, When I was saying I'd get a bike, EVERYONE told me it would be dangerous and that people would pull out in front of me.
in a month of riding I haven't had one close call from anyone. And I do some pretty dumb stuff while riding.
Only close call I've had is when I went around a round-a-bout too fast, and I have pretty much no experience turning. Nearly hit the gutter.

@aznwilly211 Small amounts of milk chocolate won't kill them, although its not good for them. A weird fact i saw somewhere said that cocoa is actually toxic to all living things, including humans. Dogs are just more sensitive to it;but that in humans a lethal dose is something huge.

It's interesting to see how pets act and in return are treated in other countries. I was in Ireland about a month ago and all the dogs I met were all off leash and still so well behaved and no though anything of have one wander It the house I was staying or the pub next door (same Irish wolf hound, wandered all over).

You notice the jerk drivers and coment on them about as much as I do. I live out in the woods and there is a gated development not far from me where hundreds of U.S. Army people live. They constantly pass in the curves with double yellow (no passing) stripes. I can drive to L.A. from my place out here in the Washington woods (aprox.. 1200 miles) [1931Km] and never once go across the centerline or fog line. I could even do it after drinking a huge can of Fosters every hour for the 19.5 hours.

I try to stay in my own lane, but I've had a couple of corners where I was coming in too hot and drifted into the oncoming lane. Fortunately there wasn't a car coming those times, but that was good luck.

i drive a car and my close calls were 1) i went round a bend waaay to fast and a car was coming and i literally stopped like an inch away from him, and 2) i was overtaking a van but he was speeding up and there was an oncoming car coming so i had to slam on my brakes, locked them up and hit the right curb (i live in UK so we drive on the left) i probably skidded for like 40m haha destroyed my 2 front tyres but luckily made it unharmed
