It's brilliant seeing Graham give Pete a hand. The british press had Doherty written-off because of his addictions and Graham and the producer Steven Street still knew there was good left in him. His solo album Grace Wastelands is very good. As for Graham Coxon, he's probably one of the greatest muscians that ever lived. Don't forget, he ent through a bad time too with the drink and knocked it on the head.
In what way? is it not entirely true that the man with the guitar (ie not coxon or doherty) seems to be dressed up as wor kurt, down to even having a replica of one of cobains early geetars?
i think so. is it you or something? haha have i crushed your idea of a subtle facade? poo to you with bells and knobs on sir.
Wow, I was in the front row at this gig! When Pete came on everyone went so mental. I bruised my ribs on the railings cos I was so crushed. Worth it though!
it was a combination like no other, pete doherty is one of the most sensitive and witty songwriters of these years and coxon is a delicate and understated musician, a true artist.
dave go beyond appearence, beside a singing that's not perfect (that's assumed, but well, show if you can, i can also WRITE than i can sing and play g.tar better than them...) there could be an artistic sensibility that's far beyond common.
Graham Coxon has been making some of the best music around for a number of years now (just check out his b-sides, amazing stuff) and his own excellent cover of the amazing Time for Heroes makes this a logical combination. Dave 1999 sounds like he's in high school and prefers metallicker.
pete doherty is a dickhead, there is nothing different about his singing, i could sing better and he's really slumming it with coxon on g.tar- noone gives a shit about coxon or his music anymore- ex blur guitarist with the glasses
if you could do better...why dont you? id love to see some of your work, and 'amazing' lyrics, better than pete's lyrics, or better guitaring than graham...or just try to look cooler than them, thats a feat in itself...
Oasis have no talent and worked the same boring sound to death again and again.
Damon albarn is the most influencial musical of all time, and coxon is just god damn AWESOME, you know fuk all about music and if you cant like this your a dick and dont watch it.....DICK....
