This thunderstorm probably ended up being a hail producer. When one grows extremely fast and has nothing disturbing the air all around it, that's when it will have what looks like a nuclear explosion apperance. If there was a lot of wind shear and the jet stream involved, the storm would have had a slanted look to it. Has nothing to do with HAARP for all those who think it does. These storms have been seen well before HAARP ever existed.

It's actually a cumulonimbus cloud as the updraft of air parcels continue to rise in the air, condensation occurs and the anvil shape of the particles are ice crystals that high. When the air particles can not rise any longer they spread out...
