  • is that malu anemone???looks like mine!!

  • Do you mind me asking how much this setup cost? We are looking into starting up a reef tank of this size.

  • how do you put the corals on the rock

  • awesome tank! id just be careful with the 2 different clownfish.

  • what lights do you have on this tank

  • LMAO...... Dude the guys tank looks Very nice and everything looks healthy !!!!

And all you could say is " to much fish " freaking hater lol ...... Nice freaking tank!

  • way to much fish.

  • is that a red scooter blenny? would he be alright with a small spotted mandarin? What does he eat?

  • @28GallonBowfront

yeah it is.. unfortunately it has met its end after getting caught in between the rocks.. :(

  • @TheSaltwaterfreak O that sucks! i was thinking about getting one but i didnt know what they eat but now i probably dont have any room for any more fish so i might have to wait or sell one or two of them.

  • @TheSaltwaterfreak My royal gramma ate mine :(

  • @skeezerzz R u serious? wow. that really stinks. do you think a smaller red scooter blenny would be alright with a small spotted mandarin

  • @28GallonBowfront I think it should be one or another or they will compete for food. If you have a really big tank you *might* be able to pull it off. I would go with the mandarin if you like color and red scooter if you like personality.

  • @28GallonBowfront Oh spotted mandarins eat live brine so if you can get a live brine hatchery I think that would help.

  • @skeezerzz Mine eats frozen foods and i dose my tank with copepods so hes doing fine. im gonna try to buy the scooter blenny in my fish store that loves frozen foods more then copepods. absolutely fat. If they dont get along i will take the scooter back

  • @28GallonBowfront Good luck! Watch out for royal grammas!

  • @skeezerzz Yeah i dont plan on getting one of those. i had to take my midas blenny back because he was being mean to my mandarin

  • @28GallonBowfront I didn't even see the royal gramma being mean to my blenny one morning i woke up and my royal gramma looked like she was pregnate and my blennys skeleton on the sand. Aww midas are beautiful. My favorite fish are bicolor blennys and diamond gobys though.

  • @skeezerzz Yeah my favorite fish are the wild caught green mandarins. But the y wouldnt live in my tank and ORAs green mandarins are pretty ugly on their website. i do like scooter blennys tho too

  • @28GallonBowfront Correct me if i'm wrong but aren't they called scooter dragonets?

  • @skeezerzz Idk really i know they are in the dragonet family but dont know if its part of their name.

  • @28GallonBowfront he would prob be fine with a spotted mandaring, they r peacefull fish. they eat copedpods or amphipods or rlly any pods in general. u may get lucky and find 1 at a store tht eats frozen mysis like i did. im gonna try and train it to eat flakes as well as pellets and mysis. theyre very interesting fish.

  • how long did it take u for your tank to cycle? i have the exact same tank

  • @28GallonBowfront

It took me around 6-8 months..

  • @TheSaltwaterfreak My tank cycled in less than a week. I added live sand, live rock, and premade saltwater on day one.

  • @TheSaltwaterfreak it took ur tank 6-8 months to cycle?

it took my 37 gallon a month to cycle...amazing tank btw.

  • @TheSaltwaterfreak WHAT??? it took my freshwater tank 4 weeks, saltwater is usually faster because the live rock/ live sand already has bacteria on it

  • beautiful tank.

    I love the substantial colt!

  • @kristoferleonardi

thanks for this.. :) although i sold it due to its taking over my tank.. :)

  • o wow you have a marron and a regular clown. i thought the marron would murder the ocellaris?

  • yeah i kinda took a chance on this one, cause i really liked to have them both. but there doesnt seem to be any scuffles between the both of them. they seem to just mind their own business.

  • what kind of lighting is being used? awesome tank!

  • @tony08211

just t5 with actinic lights and daylights. 96 watts rating, thinking of going higher but it seems to do the job.

  • the sea stars are asterina's i have one too.

  • Lots of anemones for a reef. How're they doing?

I just put a 4" BTA in my 28 nano & have been worried because he roams! Don't want any wars with my corals...

  • honestly they are still doing well.. only my rock anemone is the one that keeps moving around.. my purple tip stays put where he is, so does my GBTA and my curly q anemone. all my other softcorals are doing great.. i actually had to chop down some of my cobalt coral cause its growing way too fast..
