He spent more money than any other president in the world. He's popular because of lies and not because of he has done. He is changing the country´s status and will make it play an important role in international relations. As President Lula says, for some countries of the Northern Hemisphere it would just be one more Olympic Games event. Brazil is a friendly country, does not get involved in wars and has no enemy nation. Its openness makes it a perfect place for gathering everyone. Welcome!
I Cannot agree with you completely. Though I do believe Lula has been important, change in Brazil started with Itamar Franco and Fernando Henrique's governments. All these three governments have been important.
