I say this cause it happens to me sometimes, i try to play or sing (i don't sing well) songs that are too sad, but as i'm not that sad of a person it doesn't come out right. Great singing, just work on the tempo once u get goin. A little advice, when ur singing u shouldn't listen to the song (focus on the feel/tempo and where u know u come in) cuz i saw u doing that. Why should you even cover a song like that. First of all it's a terrible band with some average songs that are ok. It's clearly made for a much faster 'growling' like style of vocals. Don't get me wrong, you have a good voice but this is clearly not the right song. Try a song like Coil from the band Opeth.
