  • Thanks for the great advice. These ideas work anywhere and anytime. For example, if you're going out, try them too. Speak loud and confident. Easier said than done but it's a good skill to have. Trust me

  • I like the advice. It is very specific and directed. Some students might be able to use more general principles which can be applied in more situations. Ms. Jeavons' use of vocal variety seems a little more forced or arbitrary, however, with changes in pitch and volume unrelated to emphasis.
