latest sad news Teena marie-THE IVORY QUEEN OF SOUL is doing one more major project , and will then be calling it a day, and will only release music via her website, i do not think that she will be doing anymore concerts here in the uk , i think she wont be touring anymore , as she says she is tired tired tired

It all depends on what area of Baltimore you area in. Where Artscape is, is a pretty safe, and financially secure area. Mount Vernon, Mount Royal, Charles Village, Federal Hill, and the new Harbour East as well as a few other places are very nice and can be quite expensive.

Baltimore is no worse than any other major cities on the easr coast, philly, baltimore, newyork ,dc are rough places to live. Teena isn't underrated. It's just that she hit her height of stardom back in the eighties. Those days are over. We can relive them through the music though. I absolutely LOVE Teena Marie so don't get it twisted, but lets be realistic. She's pretty much an oldies act now. Let's just be happy that beautiful voice of hers is still as clear as a bell and that every now and then she puts out some new shit for us to enjoy...

I <3 Teena Marie. She has an amazing voice and her octave leaps are unbelievable and she may be the original Christina but NOT Mariah.
