SAy man that amp aint pushing those speakers right! You need atleast a 1500 Kenwood amp, that will show you the tru bump of them DDs. Trust me i've had them with that amp amd it pushes them hard!!! Money talks!!! You might need thicker wires for the speakers too!!!

@xSkateFreak Thanks man. Idk never had it metered. but this system is in my toyota celica now so it hits harder in that hatchback. but hearing it by ear i would say I am hitting between 120-130 DBs. not that high but good for an intro system.

Be careful. I noticed that it didn't sound much different after you went from 24 to over 40 volume. Your clipping the amp and/or overdriving something. It'll damage the speakers AND the amp doing that. One way to tell if it's clipping is if all teh bass notes sound about equally loud and/or muddy.

Those DD's look like they could be takin a lot more. What amp are you using here? I like how you spaced the amp off the box for air flow underneath it. One thing I'd change, pull the amp and mount it on the back side of the seats. There's three reasons, it will run cooler if the fins are vertical, the vibrations from the woofers won't be shaking it to death, and oyu'll have something left if some punk try's to jack you. It being mounted on the box makes it too easy. Know what I mean?
