This is a classic case of ‘the truth hurts doesn’t it’ Bolton is many things, but he is not stupid. He knows fully well he’s been caught out trying to make the news instead of reporting it. He may be a porky tory twat now, but somewhere inside there’s the haunting memory of a kid who had aspirations to be a journalist.

I missed this when it happened. I'm definitely no fan of Alastair Campbell, but that was really unprofessional of Boulton, and I didn't get why he got so upset because Campbell didn't say anything unreasonable. It's also not right that someone who is so obviously bi-partisan is a news presenter. Rupert Murdoch does this to the extreme in the US with Fox News, I wouldn't be surprised if he slowly transforms Sky News into something similar.
