Check out my videos I grew with cfls and no problem! Harvested in 8 weeks with this system 20 grams of a 24 inch plant. I think ur problem with the stretching was from beginning when u raise the lights to fast! Did start from seed or clone?

people bitch bout cfls and they dont even think about lst. they dont work because the light inst strong enough to penetrate deep into the canopy. you solve this problem by tying your plant down as it grows, creating a sideways looking plant, with all of its branches uniformly pointing upwards. you get a perfectly even canopy if you train them through a trellis. this way all the light gets to every bud, rather than just the top few colas, wasting all the stem space below

well all ur bulbs seem to be in one place at the top, if ur gonna use low power bulbs then u gotta think smart, place the bulbs strategically so that the bulbs concentrate on different parts of the plants, looking for the best all round coverage, ur top canopy is stopping the light, also (& prob most wastefull) is the fact u have no reflectors, u r losing between 1/3 to 1/2 of the light ur powering, and i agree with rickhorror, they're only good for veg.....

If you're going to use CFL's you really have to train your plants or use a Sea of Green aka SoG setup. There are hundreds of ways to do so and no one way is wrong.

What is the wattage of each of the lamps and how many you useing. They look kinda small, I'm thinking of using 2X 200w cfl for a 1 sqm. Cfl's are best for sea of green technique as they're best used as close to the plants as possible.
