  • Great version of a great song......

  • Wow..Lyn does this just as good ,if not better than Peggy Lee!!!!

  • What tv program is this from?

  • Anyone got Lyn doing THE AFRICAN WALTZ, easily the best version of that track.

  • Correct Soulmaster7 and for Fabuladico's further education it was also written by

Little Willie John Davenport..He recorded and released his song in 1956. it topped the Billboard charts and sold over a million copies,he was the brother of MABLE jOHN (Stax/Motown) and the Father of Keith John who was in Stevie Wonders Band

  • The Original version of this song was by Little Willie John on US King..and later

    released on UK Parlaphone

  • Anyone got Lyn doing "Never on a Sunday." The best version by far..

  • I think I like the Original version of this song with Peggy Lee best. She was not only a talented singer, but as you can see by this song, she could write a pretty darned good song too!

  • Us kids had no idea what good stuff we were seeing on "Shindig!" back then.

You can't help by admire the towering, complex hairdo here.

  • Love many different renditions of this number. I really, really think it is the MUSIC that makes the song. Listen to that seductive BASS line.

  • hottie

  • there's a spanish version with mexican singer César Costa..'' Fiebre''..wow she realy sang it cool..very sensual....!!!...

  • totally agree with you leandros 1972. a very talented lady.

  • Yes this is Lyn Cornell later of The Pearls . They had a number of hits - You Came You Saw You Conquered - Guilty - You are Everything ( before it was murdered by Diana and Marvin ! ) - Third Finger Left Hand ( though the vocal on that was actually Sue and Sunny ) . They also did lots of others which didn't chart but should have . Lyn had a hit with Never on Sunday and did 9 singles for Decca 1960 - 1963 . Like Love / Demon Lover was the first one . She should have been huge - big talent wasted

  • ewaf88 Icant answer that but i know she had aminor hit with a song called "Demon Lover" similar to this. Loved it as a kid.

  • Is this the young lady who went onto sing in the duo - The Pearls and had a hit with Guilty and almost another one with 'Wizard of Love'

  • supposedly my long lost cousin! dont know that but she doesnt half look like me and my kids. hail from the capitol of culture.

  • Hi Audrey Love John Conettxx
