  • I'll watch anything with Counselor Troi in it!!

  • There is only one problem with this vid: the vo is terrible. It should've been done in the vein of Shatner's Kirk.

  • @bakerandbaker1 The Voice Over, was exactly what I asked for. I asked Paul to do a spot on impression of the late William Conrad, and he did. I will defend his choices and his voice work with my dying breath. To be a proper parody, it has to be an exact mirror of what was done, with just a few things juxtaposed, and he did it perfectly!

  • i like it

  • Bravo, good sir! Bravo!

  • I would watch the SHIT out of this!

  • A very clever idea and well executed!

  • A very clever idea and well executed!

  • Nice job.

  • LOVE IT! fantastic job - this may be "unofficial" but it completes the circle - there were many nods and references to Trek throughout the Buck Rogers series -

You did a great job with this video - thank you

  • Absolute genius, my friend! Thank you - this is hilarious!

  • This is freakin hilarious...awesome job dude! LoL :-D

  • This is great!

  • This is HILARIOUS! I love Scotty and Buck! WH00T!

  • Is this the Daniel Caine version of the theme from "Fantastic TV Themes"? I can't find a clean version of the theme, not even on the Intrada soundtrack.

  • Oh, I would totally watch that! Classic.

  • I never tire of this. Miss ya, Jimmy!

  • The opening Narroration for 'BR in the 25th-C' was done by the immortal William Conrad of 'Cannon'-fame as well as Nero Wolfe(Conrad also voiced an animal observation show--of which the name escapes me) among many others. And yes...this was very well done.

  • The dislikers HAVE NO SOUL!!!

  • Watching the final scenes of the final 2nd Doctor story "The War Games", I am struck at how the footage of him falling through the time vortex (along with the concept of him being stranded on earth in the 20th century) would make a brilliant Buck Rogers intro, just as this is.

  • @DarkComet666 Thanks not bad... I'll have to add that to the list of future videos. If I use it, I will certainly give you credit!

  • @Kelvington Awesome. It's something I have no hope of doing myself, I've never edited anything vid-related in my life. But I reckon you could do it right, and I think you could make it look awesome.

  • that looks great man! what did you use to make the circles effect?

  • @adaw90 Thanks! All that was done with transitions inside Sony Vegas, they are just layered like 25 high, it was the hardest effect I had ever tried at the time.

  • Love it well done man :D

  • dude from jake and the fat man or cannon did the voice of the original buck rodgers tv show

  • Great parody, I wish I would of had thought of this... Good job

  • I love it, I'm laughing, it brough a smile to my face.

  • We miss you James Doohan

  • It doesn't matter how many times I watch this, it always brings a smile to my face.

  • @Gragthor - I like this ! Fare Thee Well, Montgomery Scott / RIP James Doohan.

" Relics " was a fitting tribute to a beloved character AND actor.

  • Loved it. Made my day. RIP, Jimmy.

  • OMG this was great. Totally made my day!

  • LOL I knew something like this would come a long. Twiggy on the end LOL nice one

  • How did you make this?

  • This is fantastic, that should have been a spin-off for TNG, it would have been awesome.

  • This was actualy very good...had me cracking up. Awesome job!

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa :D

  • hahahha awesome

  • A great tribute to both Jimmy Doohan and Buck Rogers.

  • Nicely done. Relics has always been a favourite of mine. When I first watched it I nearly fell off my seat in shock when the transporter was engaged!

  • Awesome!

  • Very funny. I liked the announcer choice too.

  • Love it, it made a great ending to my day.

  • Love the video. I find it a fitting tribute to James Doohan (RIP).

  • That was well done!! Hilarious!!

  • LOVED it...

  • WTF? lol

  • LOVE IT! GREAT JOB!

  • I liked this so much I made a playlist around it!

I look forward to for the Kirk/Wilma sequel.

  • @grooviant Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. That's not a bad idea!

  • damn it, why did this spin-off never happen!

  • DAMN WELL DONE!!!! LOL!! LOVE THIS!

  • Lmao!

  • Epic mate ! I miss old scotty, awesome..

    ;-)

  • Man, this is actually doable compaired to some of the crap thats out there.

This would actually have worked- I salute you Sir!

  • Excellent. Love it.

  • That's FREAKIN' GREAT!!! Good edit! R.I.P. Jimmy.

  • Out-Freakin'-Standing!!

  • superb, I thoroughly enjoyed :D

    5/5

  • Excellent! The only way it could have been better if all the cast was drinking in every scene

  • I wish I had thought of that! Great idea!

  • a winner is you!

  • Superb - well done!

  • That is awesome! I wish that was a real show! JK. Good edit.

  • Now why on earth didn't Rick Berman greenlight THIS idea instead of the heinous VOYAGER?

  • Genius! Give this man a medal!

Pity Doohan isnt still with us to make it.

  • LOL, retirement ships? Epic :)

  • Funny! Almost as good as a similar parody on South Park!

  • Loved it!!!!! Also check out "Star Trek as the A-Team. Also very good. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • Awesome

  • EPIC WIN.

  • Great job! Looks professional!

  • VERY well done indeed!

  • Superb job....

  • I'd watch this show in heartbeat.

  • Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic.

  • I Love This!

  • This was fantastic! Thanks for putting in the time and effort on this one!

  • OUTSTANDING

  • You succed.

  • Another triumph. Although it would have been better to put Gates McFadden in there, because Marina Sirtis wasn't in "Relics" at all except for the final scene. Which bothered me, because I carried a massive torch for her.

  • A reminder that James Duhaan was a Canadian D-day. He helped them advance the furthest of all allied nations that day. He was also wounded and sent back for rehabilatation.

Then back to the front he naver gave up for real.

  • Aye

  • haha this is so genius!

  • Great job quite funny. And a fitting tribute to James Doohan

  • Well done, but don't sit so close to the mike next time.

  • cute

  • That was so ridiculous that it was funny. Good work. LOL :)

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! Hysterical!!!

  • holy crap that was great! 5 stars!

  • That was great!!!

  • LOL!!!!

  • i love it thanks

  • very cute!!

  • Cool.....10/10

  • Damn fine stuff.

  • What I'd really like to see is Randolph Scott in the 24th Century. How 'bout it, you geniuses?

  • that's Hedley

  • Frakkin' brilliant!

  • Man...this was great! Good job!

  • and the video of scottie taking a generous slug of the hootch. That's classic, well done..

  • this is great, i was just watching the intro to the buck rogers show, and you got all the annoyingness of the original narrator

  • I don't know, the narrator in this sounds like the Klingon judge in Star Trek VI:The Undiscovered Country. This narrator did a good job though.

  • that would have been a great series!

  • If only you could see me laughing right now... You would call me insane!

  • Brilliantly done! Bravo!

  • Funny, great video! The best part is Scotty spinning through time. Very well done.

  • Thank you for posting this! How awesome.

  • That was wonderful!! Great job editing, great VO.

    5 stars!

  • Excellent! Love it! Great editing Kelvington!

  • I liked this a lot but of course, It is interesting that you used Marina Sirtis in the opening. I mean she is not in Relics save for that one season at the end

  • ok that was one scene at the end

  • No that's a good point but I had to have a Wilma Dearing, and she was the closest thing to her in the series. I was either her or Crusher.

  • EXCELLENT!!!

  • STANDING OVATION!!!!!!

  • ......If only......

  • /:-|

  • Fracking Brilliant!!! I'm still laughing with tears streaming from my eyes and I nearly pissed myself!!!

  • This isn't well known but James Duhann is Canadian war hero. He fought with the Canadian army on D-day in the first Canadian Army and helped them penetrate the farthest of all allied forces that day. He was wounded and sent to hospital near the end of the night.

    Amazing man and actor.

  • It's also how he lost his middle finger on his right hand when he was shot. I think he took several bullets in WWII.

  • This is awesome and brilliant and awesome.

  • Fantastic! One of the best short parodies I've ever seen! As a fan of both shows, this really tickled me.

  • How did you do that? Well done!

  • Thanks, it's done with Vegas Video. The circles are actually transitions (about 30 of them) layered on top of each other. There was an actual sleepless night trying to figure out how to do that. But I was happy with the way it turned out.

  • You should do one with Khan in the 23rd century. starring ricardo montalban. That would be great as well.

  • I'm impressed w/ the editting

  • Well done... esp like the scene of Scotty drinking the Romulan Ale... or was it Klingon?

  • It was that green stuff that Picard had given to Guinan...I forget exactly what it was. But Scotty was drinking it on the holodeck Enterprise (Constitution class) in the "Relics" episode.

  • Now I remember...it was Aldeberan whiskey!

  • I couldn't stop laughing at this. As a huge fan of Buck in my childhood (and having just watched the old intros again), I have to say that this is magnificent.

  • Love It! If you go onto "bentima7"'s videos, you'll find a very tacky buck rogers intro spoof dedicated to our tribute band, Who's Renown. All The Best.

  • Gene Roddenberry made a tv pilot in the 70's with a similar frozen in time plot, The concept was reinvented into Andromeda in 2000. Can somebody make a Dylan Hunt Buck roger montage?

  • Very well done. Boy, do I miss Scotty...he was one of the greatest characters ever.

  • Crashed in a Dyson sphere?

  • Yes, as in the ST:TNG episode "Relics" like it says in the description of this video.

  • This was honestly one of the best things I have ever seen. If there was some sort of feature where I could credit you with vast amounts of funds, I would in an instant.

  • Man this stuff is funny as hell! I love it and think it sould be a staple for comedic parodies forever.

  • This is the best parody intro I've seen! What did you use to make it?

  • Thanks for kind words! I used Sony Vegas Video. Thanks for asking!

  • LOL! I remember that episode of TGN!

  • Absolutely Brilliant!

  • I have to be a Star Trek geek & correct your intro. Scotty was neither the Captain nor was he the pilot of the USS Jenolan.

He was a passenger and nothing more.

  • You are EXACTLY correct, but for the sake of the comedy of it, and making the voice over sound as close to the original as possible, we made him the pilot. Although his rank was in fact Captain, as he is called Captain Scott in the episode. But I'm glad you were the FIRST to point out the discrepincy! If I had a prize, I would give it to you! Well done!

  • Fantastic!

    Well done.

  • Usually for the first week I leave the Embed code off, but it's always embeddable via Break.
