  • I believe the reason he gets out of breath so quickly is because of the phosocreatine system. This system is a quick burst of energy where the body uses atp in a flight or fight reaponse. Once the body realizes there is no threat it moves on to the glycotic system which last 30 seconds to 2 minutes and then to the oxidative system which last 3 minutes or more. My sources? I'm an exercise science major and am studying exercise physiology right now.

  • my sister use to do these in the army. though she did this on the ground, i believe they were called spiderman pushups

  • @ItsOvechkin then work on your chest do more normal pushups and build up to this.

  • @ItsOvechkin So add extra weight. Also you need to build up your shoulders too, Do a lot of incline/close grip incline bench presses to that will really build up your chest

  • @CarlosD1995 yeh but i'd dislocated my shoulder around 6 times previously, so all the ligaments are basically torn, and it's really difficult for ligaments to heal fully, and yeah that's why it dislocated doing this

  • @iM9A A little secret of 'getting ripped' is in the diet portion. Sometimes before a competition, bodybuilders cut way back on their salt intake. I guess since salt causes water retention, losing the salt helps shed water weight, meaning more body fat melts off, therefore the skin looks thinner, making it easier to see more definition in the muscle.

  • @ITzReece96 try some weight gainer ;) 1 month or 2 of this and your fucking ripped you get some suprising results... or else take it easy with protine shakes nd wait for bout 3months for a nice difrence :D workout 3 times a week then :D do pullups,chinups,pushups,this and some crunches 100% Pure upper body shit :D

  • @ITzReece96 Well, to make your arms look better without flexing, you need to lose more body fat and do exercises that tone your arms. Yoga is a very good way to approach this.

  • @ITzReece96 im 14, this wrks so well, 200-400 pushups evryday, sets of 15-20 every 30 min. or so, and 200 situps, sets of 15 every 30 min. or so. i feel so much tougher and i started last week :] gotta get ripped for highschool lol

    This exercise won't help you get toned muscle.. well if you are ONLY doing this

    exercise then no.Buy some dumbbells do dumbbell exercise i have been doing dumbbell exercise for quite a while and have toned muscle..Just be patient with building your muscles.

  • No, it really isn't.

    Because he's having to use his entire core strength to plant that foot against the wall and keep his body stable. To rest your feet on a bed or a chair would undermine the whole purpose of the exercise.
