  • "Dude!" Lol. Nice playing. I am now even more convinced that I require a LP.

I'm a Strat Guy and notice some Strat sounds--care to mention the rest of the rig?

  • @murfguitar2000 What you hear is a small practice amp, Ibanez clone, That's it :)

I do have American stratocaster, but that's another story...

  • @prolik2 What did you do to get that good at shredding?

  • @choobplaya Haha, thnx man ;)

  • its sound fuckin' crazy great!!!!!

  • what color is that one? light brust or honey brust?

  • @phil88530

    Tobacco sunburst

  • sweet gnr and zepp

  • How would a Gibson R9 compare to this guitar?

  • @Alu122112211221

R9 got more vintage vibe to it, this on is a modern/vintage crossover

  • that is one badass guitar

  • Nop, it's LP STANDARD, faded tobacco sunburst

  • it's the faded cherry model not the standard!! I have the same guitar...

  • in fact it is a les paul standard 2008 . it´s just the the version with the faded finish . It´s not worse the "normal" standard , there´s just no gloss on the maple top and on the back . Go check it out ! it´s really not that much difference ! (by the way , the satin on the back of this one , in my opinion feels a lot smoother than the glossy back of the "usual" Standard .

  • i really loved the neck. what are anyones thought on the traditional?

  • dude!! i saw you smiling when you were playing the led zepplin jam!! LOL!! keep rockin!!!

  • That is a sexy maple top! Nice licks, aswell!

  • It should be played cleanly to hear how the guitar sounds.

  • du u have any songs on ITUNES, If so i would sooo buy them. I have never heard of u, but ur up their with slash!!!!!!

  • @F3RALIC

    haha no.

  • is this the knocking on heavens door solo?

  • @leonschannel

    Yes..

  • DAMN GOOD JOB MAN!

    KEEP ON ROCKIN!

  • Hey great guitar. Nice rich sound. Its cool how you added blues in with the rock. Great harmonics (I am not totally sure what harmonics means lol). I need to get back into playing (Im 13 yrs old). What amplifier did you use?

  • @abm92296

This is small 15Wat practice amp, but I do have Marshall

  • How come ur not FAMOUS???

  • @rock2live2rock

    ehm.....

  • @rock2live2rock because he is too good for fame

  • Hey man I would really appreciate if u could tell me where I could learn licks like the ones you open with in this vid...Thanks much appreciated!

  • Dude if you take lessons, learn scales, master them, and all that good crap like im starting to do, you can basically play anything you can imagine (Im not kidding, its true). That guy did not look up on the internet what he is playing. It came naturally from practice. You cant just find those exact riffs somewhere or learn how to play them overnight.

  • @abm92296 who gave clapton lessons. i was having lessons once a week good teacher as well. dident work for me .not been a dick. here. it can come naturally. i know some wicked self taught boys.rock on,,,,,

  • @MsChrissummerfield Im self taught myself as well, for most of the things i do. I spend more time jammin' out on my keyboard MIDI synth, which I have no lessons or organized knowledge on. I just have been playing it for so long and I understand different dynamics naturally so I end up coming out with some really sick stuff. I was just saying that the scales allow you to have sort of a baseline to reference on if you want to learn a riff or something out of your favorite songs quickly.

  • Learn scales, practice them everyday, and you can shred all you want.

  • @ipopmyjunk

Oh, from everywhere, just brows and learn what you like, it all come up together at some point :)

  • Not denying your skills man, but is this a guitar test or a selfwankathon?

  • @AsterixTG999

Both man, glad you listen through.. :)

  • Big sound comming from such a small amp . Killer chops dude .

  • sounds way chunkier than the studio faded cherry, but cannot even compare with the lp supreme. The full flavour lp tone for me.Rock on dude

  • wow i love your videos!

  • how much better does this sound than your studio? :o

  • @kotekotekitty

Got more bite in it, better neck (slimmer), although both were 50' round necks

  • Oh my god! i love gibson les paul!.. oh nice test lol

  • awesome playing...what equipment are you using?

  • @Aboodikillakali

This is small 15Wat practise amp, but for gigs - Marshall all the way :)

  • HOLY SHIT!!!! its my dream to be able to play like that .... that was amazing

  • beautiful sound

  • is this faded?

  • @Jimmy94spaces

  • hah, sounds just like slash at the beginning!

  • HOLY fuck dude.. ur awsome!!!

  • what finish is that?

  • @aznidiot44

    Tobacco sunburst

  • did you change the pickups? and what amp are you using? great playing

  • @sebahQMT

Nope, Bursbuckers Pro, 15Wat practice amp, small beast..

  • jbt patak! Pa kolko dugo ti sviraš gitaru da si već takav majstor? :D

  • @nixxl26

od 12godine, znaci, dosta dugooo :)

  • HOLLY MOTHER F*CK YOUR AMAZING

  • that skill deserves a guitar like that

  • I was referring to some of the first humbuckers made by Gibson back in 1957 commonly called P.A.F.s (Patent Applied For). A standard from '97 like you mentioned would have these kind of pickups and would sound more "vintage", where a studio would sound slightly more modern.

  • That's more like it! You had me rockin' out there! Way to play, dude!

  • the standard comes with burstbuckers which sound more like old paf buckers and the studio comes with 490 and 498 which are a little more agressive. i like the burstbuckers since they have a little more character.

  • Wow, awesome, what effects are you using during the video?

  • @Vanodi

No effects, just small 15Wat practice amp :)

  • Tabs, please? Kiddin, very nice improvising

  • wow, has anyone told you that you sound like Gary Moore?

  • oo fuck man you realy rocked the shit out of me! awsome buddy.. keep up the rocking man!

  • how much was that??

  • Man, what a tone! Heartbreaker sounds awesome! I'm thinking about getting a Gibson Standard or a R8. Well, of course the R8 is better, but here in my country it costs 40% more than a standard. Do you think a normal standard is already a good choice? Cheers!

  • @DudVince

of course, you can always try them both side to side, then decide

  • Dude you already made me jealous with your guitar and playing skills, but Heartbreaker? You are a sick sick man ;D

  • dude where did you learn to improvise? can you teach me how?

  • nice job on the heartbreaker part.

  • is the gibson les paul 50 neck?

  • Dude,

    You F@#$ing shread!

  • Great Man!!! Great guitar and technique! What model is it?

    Cheers
