Brings heartwarming and sad memories in my mind from CLANNAD. How Tomoya confessed to Nagisa, how they were happy together and how they become strong together, how they went over all the hardships.. How Nagisa died, how Ushio and Tomoya hugged eachothers, how Tomoya changed "I should never met Nagisa" to "the best thing what happened was that I met her'', how Ushio died in the snowfield and how Tomoya with the light orbs got Nagisa and Ushio back. I love CLANNAD. ♥

A good AMV should have the ability to effect a viewers feelings and I believe you have just succeeded at this, this anime caused me to at parts truly wanna cry. The anime was well chosen as that the "Clannad" series itself is full of heart whelming parts this makes it great for any AMV wanting sadness and/or sorrow. I remember watching this at the AV contest on Friday and it was one of the two or three that gave me shivers. My friend and I nearly cried. This was so well done and I was really upset when I heard it didn't win. T_T My boyfriend, who did the Inception Trailer AMV, said he was shocked you came in second. Still not sure how AMG in a Nutshell was in the same category as this -- such different levels.

I was pretty excited to see that the video made it into the competition considering how few good Clannad amv's I have seen and this one being so good. i think you picked the most perfect anime when it comes to "living for something" and "optimism". First Nagisa then Ushio, Tomoya has been through so much junk that it was even hard for me to see what was good in his life. He was just blinded to the goodness in front of him.
