@TheIreneChan C-series for Classic, older piano design, slightly simpler cabinet details, lighter action designed to appeal to home users.
K-series for Konzert, new designs incorporating the larger action of the 7' Schimmel, better upper treble, 100% German instead of mostly German construction.
The shorter K169 will be preferred more often when side by side the C182 by maybe a ratio of 75% to 25%...however don't let this take away from how lovely the C182 really is.
@ianochristensen Thank you. I will pass the compliment. It is his own arrangement and you're not the first to request the music, but it has never been put to paper.
@Suzhakstan A Yamaha C2 is certainly a nice instrument, but the German Schimmel's are superior even to the larger C3. As of Jan. 2011, the retail for a C2 was $35k while a new C182 retails for $45k. Negotiated prices can vary significantly. We and many other dealers are currently backordered on this popular model. I hope to see more by this fall.
@Cadw This is a New Schimmel C182T, not a used one. I'm just refining my video style and focusing on Schimmel pianos for the past couple of weeks. However, there is another used one on the horizon.
How does the C182T compare to K169T? The C182 is having a bargain price at $37K and the K169 is $49K (not on sale)
