@twn3nc Musicians are always recreating are remaking music. It's not only hip hop artists that do this, it's all of them. Even this song could be based on a melody he heared. Think about all the jazz songs called Take The A Train.
Lots of music fans nowadays seem to think that the "new shit" is original. Truth be told, in hip hop and rap(which i'm a fan of), there aren't very many original songs, most sample from someone elses songs, from the 70's-90's. All it takes is a little research into the song, to find out that they sampled the hell out of someone's music from way back when, and lots of times, the original is still the best.
@TheFredboka Gas was.38 to .42 a gal. I could get a tank for about 6 bucks. I was rolling in a Duce 4 door Landau padded half top. Gold Black on Black, with Caddie whitewalls. Diggin a Craig 8 tarck, those were the days.
i need to be my ass home hearing this, this is for you who is gonna get it on.seem like somebody is already near the end of it getting it on,but im just chillin having a lil fun for now.
I was 3 years old when this came out,my Mama played the hell out of this,I love it when he puts that authority in his voice at the end and take it to church"In the name of love"...YES!!
Dont leave ya girl around Leon Haywood.... OG mack status, and a good groove to blaze one up to... (BTW) Yes everyone here knows this was sampled for "Aint nuthin but a G thing" thanks to the 40 of you who have mentioned it, maybe the next person will too :p

@themaxxxman1 I feel so sorry for the young ones today because they will never really know true music and talent. We have these manufactured artist today. Give them a mike and mike only they couldn't hang. Young people will never know how a song can touch you down deep. Sad!!!!
Man, I would love to find the young woman that recorded all that moaning in the background, and interview her. It'd be cool to have her tell how and where it was recorded....the circumstances, etc. She's probably 25-30 then, making her 60ish now. No doubt, it'd blow your fantasy visually..haha. She'd be going, "oh yeah, my pumps were jes' killing my feet that day, it was raining and I got soaked, and we went into the studio and I had to make all these stupid sexy moaning sounds, and I was cold,

@honeegrrl This what we have come to. The wanna be singers can't even be oringinal enough to encourage a new generation of musicians. Everthing is sampled. i am dissapointed at dre's production skills. man this is just complete rip-off:main melody, bass line, that catchy violin strings dre just replayed, fuck man
life sucks, dre you are not producer, you are fag as kanye west

@vlatkokaplan That's kinda harsh, dude! Dre's actually got talent. Now if you want to hear a jacked up remake go check out akon's remake of strawberry letter 23.
