  • @big where is this place and how much is the admission

  • @bigcatrescue where is this place and how much is the admission

  • @AQWkratospsp We're located in Tampa FL, admission for a regular day tour is $29 :)

  • há pumas em seu campus?

  • @big cat rescue-- how many subspecies of tigers do u have?

  • @cgvinayak All our tigers are what we call "Generic Tigers" they are mostly a cross breed between bengal and siberian tigers. Because they have been rescued form backyards etc... none of our tigers are 100% of a particular sub species :)

  • EEEEEEE THEY'RE ALL SOOOO CUTE!!!!! <3

  • got an couple of cheetahs

  • I'm from Singapore, the first place I will go to when I reach FL is BCR!

  • these fuckheads didnt put any food in ! shame on the small cage too!

  • @cabronian1337 Enrichment doesn't always include food, we sprayed different scents onto the box that the cats LOVE, our tiger enclosures range from 1200 sq ft to 3 acres, they're not small :)

  • @BigCatRescue Whats Different From A Leopard and Jaguar Can You Breed

  • @shaun10110 Appearance wise, leopards have simple rosettes, jaguars have rosettes with spots inside them, they are also heavier set cats. I believe the two species have been bred together in the past, but there's absolutely no reason to do this.

  • AH! I wish I was younger hahaha. I'm 22, so that's too old. :( This is such a wonderful program! I LOVE and support everything BCR does~

  • 1:43 Why is a cat in a habitat for tigers and stuff is it feral?

  • @Bluenightshade1 That is a Geoffroy Cat a wild species of cat from South America and the smallest cat at BCR :)

  • @BigCatRescue oh cuz it looked like mah kitten :D

  • That is the safest way to feed a lion and tiger and so on

  • "i liked that whoever typed that has a 3rd grade education"

"i liked that at 1:00 the cat ate the meat off the stick even when she put the stick in a different hole"

"i liked the special names the cats had like freckles the hairy tiger..."...lmao

  • omgod.... look at the lion and the white tiger staying together in the same cage! never see a white tiger before that much.

  • 1:12 It was soo cute because he looked like he was trying to stuff the food in his mouth with his paw.

  • why don't you call it animal rescue and go rescue some other animals

  • @TenDuotrigintillion We just decided to focus on big cats as we rescued 56 bobcat and lynx kittens from a fur farm in 1992 this is how BCR was started. There are many animal rescues out there but not many accredited sanctuaries for big cats.

  • I WANT TO VOLUNTEER ! too bad i live in Singapore . I bet nobody knows where that is :/

  • @watininx believe it or not, everyone does my friend lol. i would happily volunteer too but i, like you live on a different continent to BCR which is in (Tampa i think) Florida - America :(

  • @watininx everybody knows where is that well i live in Al Ain i bet you know where is that

  • @watininx SAME!

  • @watininx Its somewhere on earth right?

  • were is the Big Cat Camp?

  • @TheSidneycrosbey87 Big Cat Rescue, 12802 Easy Street, Tampa FL 33625 BigCatRescue*org Thanks for watching! :)

  • You guys are doing very meaningful work! These kids when they grow up, they will love and preserve these precious animals! I respect you a lot and wish the best for you all!

  • and i meant cameron not joseph

  • Yeah I was gonna say Hercules and Cameron in the same enclosure would be a very bad day for Hercules! Cam and Zabu were living together where we rescued them from, we believe they were trying to breed for a liger. Since their rescue they have both been fixed and enjoy living together :)

  • i meant zabu not hercules i forgot hercules was ur snowleopard.

  • hey guys i never saw hercules and joseph in the same cage. do they get along well? (i hope im not mistaking joseph being another lion) thats very cool to see. :)

  • I have a very short Siamese lion sitting here on my desk, watching this video with me. I'm not sure if he is simply pleased to see how his taller cousins are doing, or if he is wondering why I never give him meat on a stick.

I love watching the big cats attack the boxes. It's funny how cat play is cat play, across the species.

  • Simple things are the best I guess! You should watch the funny big cat sounds video with your cat see he thinks to that one!! :)

  • how big is this park

100 acres or less im guessing

  • Hi, BCR is 45 acres situated in Citrus Park, Tampa :)

  • @BigCatRescue

Cameron always play with the tigress zabu , and joseph??? did he play with other tigers o lioness ?? o cameron?

  • @MuerteyMalevolencia Joseph lives with Sasha a female lion :)

  • @BigCatRescue

Ohhhh thank you BCR , but i got another question , i see joseph with one tiger , not cameron and zbu no! , joseph! , i wanna know that tiger name :-)

  • @MuerteyMalevolencia No problem :) Well Joseph's pride used to be Joseph (M) and Sasha (F) living with two tigers Nikita (M) and Simba (F). Simba and Nikita live at the front of the sanctuary now in 3 acres!

  • @BigCatRescue

    Ohhh thank you.

  • meat on a stick? cool! i wanna try meat on a stick!

  • As long as you like it very rare!

  • ahh, nvm T.T I found out.

  • Wait, where exactly is the big cat rescue site? I would love to visit, if possible.

  • What a Pretty Tiger My Calico Mama has tiger stripes. I will venture back up there again.

  • I thought Adam looked very content in the video

  • I get the feeling that Bengali is hamming it up for his audience. Was there something in the box that made him tear it up with a flourish? He is so lovable!

  • Maybe so he's a former circus tiger, there was no meat in there just some different spices/scents that he obviously enjoyed!

  • Is the black cat at 1:45 just a regular house cat?

  • Nope, that was Nico our geoffroy cat, they are a tiny cat found in south america, normally have a coat pattern similar to that of a bobcats but Nico is melanistic and only 4-5lbs!

  • this vid would have alot more views if one of the kids were attakked.

  • Yeah but we'd get less visitors then :) Joking aside we have never had any attacks at Big Cat Rescue, we have no contact with any of the cats so we intend to keep it that way.

  • do yu guys have ligers and tigons and leopons?

  • We have Freckles the liger that we rescued late last year from Mississippi, there's a video introducing her to viewers on our channel :)

  • tha's cool, he/she's huge huhhhh!?

  • Freckles is female if you're talking about her?

  • How would you like a hassle free fundraiser that can net you more profit than ever with much less time and energy? Oh and heres the best part, there are no start up costs!

  • These cats are very lucky to have this place! Thanks for sharing another video with us. It looks like the kids had a great time :)

  • This is the way to really make a difference. Educate the young. Help them to grow up knowing the difference between what the media wants us to believe and what are the facts. Thank you BCR for making a difference in this way! This video made me smile!

  • i smell sarcasim

  • LOVE this video and admire and

respect you for all you do for these

    precious animals.

    ALL children (adults too) should

    see this campus.

    God Bless

  • Who is the tiger who pops food into his mouth at 1:14? That was such a cool flick of the paw, i replayed that section again and again. Good job, Big Cat Rescue, the cats look so well loved and taken care of.

  • That was Flavio, one of our ex circus tigers and the oldest tiger we have at BCR so he knows all the right tricks! :)

  • My daughter attended this camp and is in the video - it was an amazing experience and anyone living in Tampa should consider it!

  • Glad your daughter enjoyed it! :) What was her favorite thing to do?

  • She really liked the tours. She bought a book with all the cats in it and she is studying it. I love it so much that I am going to go the volunteer orientation and I really hope I make it in the program.

  • Sounds good, hope to see you around the sanctuary wearing the red shirt! :)

  • i want to know how many years go live lions, tigers, pumas,& jaguar.

  • On average in the wild it's about 10-12 years, yet in captivity you can pretty much double this! We had a cougar who lived to be 29!

  • it is so wonderful to see how protected and comfortable the cats are in the environment you have created for them. The camp was a brilliant idea as well.

  • Love the video! And the work you do!

I was wondering about the White Tiger and the Lion though, the two of them together. Do they have a history together? I'm really interested in their story XD I noticed you posted a video with them in before -at least I think it was them-

Have you posted a video about their history that I didnt see? I just think its interesting seeing the two species so friendly together like that XD

  • Thanks! Cameron (male lion) and Zabu (female white tiger) were rescued from a roadside zoo in new england that closed down and couldn't afford to keep them any longer. They were obviously raised together from a young age, maybe in the hope of them mating and creating a liger? Since they have been at BCR we have spayed Zabu and gave Cameron a vasectomy so no unwanted cats are born :)

  • I wish I lived near you I would of so do that!! you guys are the best!!!! keep up the awesome work!

  • Thanks for watching :)

  • Great video! I understand why a friend's daughter told me BCR camp was "the best thing I ever did". As a result she has become an animal welfare advocate... planning educational programs for her fellow 6th graders this Fall! It's great to learn that awaremess at Big Cat camp.

  • snow lepards r the cutest!!!! :)

  • what was the black cat at 1:44? it looked like a regular black cat but I suppose you don't have house cats at your rescue XD

  • That was Nico our Geoffroy cat, she's melanistic, they normally have a coat color/pattern similar to a bobcat, they live in south america. You're right though she is probably the smallest cat we have at the sanctuary 4-5lbs!

  • Beautiful cats, is it true that Jaguars and Leopards interbreed?

  • They have done in the past but only in captivity, a male jaguar + female leopard = Jagupard and male leopard+female jaguar = Legaur or Lepjag

  • wow, that white one that runs towards the camera is beautiful

  • You mean the snow leopard that jumps down from the ledge?

  • ALL BEAUTIFUL .

  • leopards are so cool

  • Yeah she is! She's always at the sanctuary working hard!

  • I'm 16 :(

  • even big kitties like to play in boxes XD that's cute.

  • Love the video, Big cats are my fav, out of all the animals I have worked with there were my fav to work with, I would love to do it again

  • Where did you work with these? Thanks for watching :)

  • no matter what size a cat is. They all love boxes<3

  • Very true :)

  • I'm coming tomorrow! It's been such a long wait for me!! I'll be joining the night tour, can't wait to see TJ =)

  • Excellent! Hope you enjoy the tour, the night tour is on the 28th august.

  • I would love to see the big cats in person...but I'd have to fly across the USA!

  • Darn, I'm too old for the camp! :( I would have LOVED to have had an opportunity like that when I was young. It's magnificent how your spreading the knowledge and love of big cats to children through this camp. YAY BCR

  • We also did the young adult camp this year for ages 16-18, follow the link in the description to this video to learn more about that. They filmed the serval species spotlight video if you want to take a look, how old are you?

  • Beautiful animals.

  • BCR, which of your two male lions do you think is bigger, Joseph or Cameron?

  • Joseph weighs more than Cameron does, they're my favorite cats at BCR.

  • This brought tears of happiness to my eyes. What a wonderful experience for young people, which will enrich the rest of their lives! You guys are so awesome! THANKS for sharing!

  • Thanks for watching and commenting! :)

  • aaaw...i love the paws of snow leopards <33

  • nice vid. cute furry cats

  • Awesome. Lovely creatures! Keep up the good work!

  • It's so sad to see them locked up.

  • yea but at least they're given a good life at BCR with a large enclosure and lots of trees and foliage to play with. if they stayed were they came from then they would be neglected and exploited. they are beautiful though arnt they:)

  • They're all beautiful!

  • Beautiful Tiger!

  • That was Bengali :)

  • 1:45

    Looks like my Mosi!!!!!! *squee!*

  • I want to go to cat camp! Who names all the cats?

  • You can sign up for next year!? All our cats keep the names they have from where we rescue them, except for the cougar kittens we rescued a few years ago Aries, Artemis and Orion we named those cats and of course the wild florida bobcats we rehab and release.

  • Typical cat, all they need is a box to play with!

  • @JennR72 Just like kids! You can buy them the most expensive toy and all they'll want is the box. I love it.

  • that looks like fun

  • I'm assuming that was Herc 1:30? Seems to me that he has hugh paws in comparison to his size? What kind of personality does Herc have?

  • Correct :) All snow leopards have those huge paws so they act like snow shoes and distribute their weight better. Herc is different with different people like all the cats, he's not a big fan of mine, very intense, but once he knows you've spotted him he acts more "friendly"

  • Herc and Cloe are two very beautiful cats. I find it amazing where Snow Leapards live and how they manage to survive in those types of conditions.

  • I agree very rare elusive cats living in very harsh conditions, have you heard of the snow leopard trust?

  • Lovely

  • I guess that's one way of recycling a cardboard box :O) Kudos to all for the work you do! By the way on Joseph's name plate it said "pay to play scheme". What is a pay to play scheme?

  • True! The tigers prefer this way! Joseph's pride were rescued from a facility that charged people to go into the cat enclosure and pet/pose for photographs, the cats were all chained in place using collars and are defanged and declawed (except for Joseph, who still as his canine teeth)

  • OH MY! "pay to play scheme" is horrid! I had never heard of that. What is with some people? I am certainly glad to know that Joseph is in the care of loving, wonderful people now. He is, I suppose, in the next best place besides his natural wild environment.

  • They're so pretty! We need to get these animals back in the wild, please!

  • 5 stars as lalways guys. I love to see the cats happy. You do such great job.

    Take care!

  • in the world there aren't enough organisations like this one.

  • Excellent!
