  • shes adorable! :)

  • There's no one like her today.

  • Good god, she was gorgeous in her prime!

  • shows were so polite and fun to watch , but now they are so disgusting and vulger .

  • Elizabeth is such a beauty and her eyes are like 3 i really love her she is such a fantastic actress!! I love her she has such natural beauty

  • I'd hate to be a guest on there. My hand writing would look terrible

  • She's simple unique!

  • Back then people were more educated and polite.

  • Breathtakingly beautiful!!

  • @tubinallthetime11 Based on looks only not as a person or any other factor but looks. Kim Kadashian is more beautiful.

  • @MultiGreat1 LMAO! A guy like you, I hope never runs ouf ot his personal lubricant of choice. Who dressed her for this show is my question?

  • @drmorb I actually do not get what you just said. Please explain?

  • @MultiGreat1

Kim Kardashian is a surgically reupholstered fake. Liz Taylor was the real thing. There is no comparison.

  • She's funny.

  • I watched this episode and the one with Natalie Wood, and I have to be honest she can never compete with the late Wood.Natalie was far more pretty and talented, too bad she was under rated, while Liz was over rated.

  • @nema1218 Natalie was a beauty and a real talent. No doubt of it. But, most would disagree with you, including me.

  • @jimidee33

I know, most would choose Elizabeth.her legendary status can never be denied.I just like Natalie more.

  • @nema1218 I understand. She was something for sure! Natalie was a true beauty and talent. And you know, since both were child stars they had some things in common.

  • Simply wonderful. Elizabeth is Classic in so many wonderful ways. A truly unique person.

  • Betty Boops voice :-D

  • <3

  • She was great here.....before she got so messed up.

  • @calalilygirl how was she "messed up" ?

  • Love Arlene's line about picking the wrong husband. That was classic. I noticed that Liz barely shook hands with her at the end. :D

  • superbly beautiful person and to think she swore like a lumberjack!

  • She kinda looks like Alice from Twilight

  • A lot of women were beautiful back then. Elizabeth Taylor was beautiful so was Lucille Ball.

  • Liz Taylor -- pretty and talented!

  • was there a british version of this? bless

  • All I can say is, "Oh, my gosh." What a great sense of humor Liz had even way back then when she was 22. Just love it. Thanks for the footabe.

  • she is TRUE beauty !!!!

  • OMG that woman was soo beautiful!! Classic beauty! And talented! I think I am gonna watch one of her films now........

  • what a goof! she's so awesome I love her!

  • *Elizabeth Taylor: THE most beautiful woman (and actress) ! Yeah !!!

  • I like this one & when Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz were guest on What's My Line.

  • I like her voice. Her & Lucille Ball are one of the most beautiful women.

  • Elizabeth Taylor & Lucille Ball were real pretty

  • sooooooooooooo beautiful!!!!

  • wow, she's soooo beautiful! =)

  • Wow what's my line is legendary.

  • She is stunning! Why did the standard of beauty ever change?!

  • I love Elizabeth Taylor forever! Great Lady with a heart of gold. Who was a loyal and dear friend to many. I wish I could have met her. But we all have her Movies and Books that will live on long after who ever is reading this is dead! RIP Beauty!

  • and a hairy one too ew !

  • OMG!!! Elizabeth Taylor, is beautiful!!!! And to top it off, she was also a very well-skilled actress, she really shines in ""The Last Time I Saw Paris"" (1954), ""Giant"" (1956), ""Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"" (1958) ""BUtterfield 8"" (1960), and ""Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"" (1966). Long live ELIZABETH TAYLOR!!!!!!!

  • Elizabeth could have voiced Olive Oil from Popeye.

  • lmao! love elizabeth taylor's humor.

  • Oh my God, the glamour.

  • Dorothy: It'll be terrible if i pick the wrong husband

Arlene: As long as she didn't.

LOL! If only they all knew. We miss you Liz!

  • Holy crap, she's funny...and of course, quite a stunning lady. Still waiting on that time machine.

  • im a modern day teenager yet i want to fuck her even though she is in black and white

    ill destroy her >=D.

  • @jetsamjetsam umm ewww

  • @jetsamjetsam Bahaha same situation here

  • Everyone talks about her looks and her beauty, which is incredible, but that's getting old. How about let's talk about how charming and funny this woman is here! She should have done more comedies! I've thought that ever since I saw her in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? too she had some funny moments that were a riot!

  • I wish i had her hand writing! jeez

  • iz that really her talking

  • Elizabeth was so pretty not like the surgery obsessed woman today

  • @MsFanmail As well as her photographs are without photoshop and her body is unaltered by computers. True beauty is what she has :)

  • @ramiahred12 I'm not denying that she was beautiful, but even back then, without the aid of computers, there were still ways to alter photos.

  • @MsFanmail women were more beautiful in the old days than new days now b/c women now are obsessed w/surgery & don't take care of their bodies

  • Such pretty handwriting. <3

  • She was such a beauty .. RIP Liz.

  • She is absolutely gorgeous here!

  • She was stunning <3 R.I.P.

  • Noone writes like that anymore. Now we all just use Verdana.

  • @rickardelimaa or comic sans

  • *swoon*

  • Now that's a true movie star~

  • She was so beautiful and talented.

  • Where do you get clips like this????

  • @Jefferson1942 I think the top right corner would be a good hint...

  • There is beauty, then again there is that sort of radiant charisma that she and Marilyn Monroe had, which kicks it up several notches. She was a dream.

  • The most beautiful woman of all time.

  • WOAH!!!!! This woman is incredibly stunning.

  • Beautiful.

  • she gave the best answers out of any guest

  • What a beautiful woman.

  • The greatest disguised voice in the history of WML.

  • Was it a woman or a hallucination?

  • Comment removed

  • Wasn't she adorable! RIP Liz!

  • Sometimes they all ask one question at a time and sometimes they ask as many questions as they can until they give a no. What gives?

  • @okonh0wp The format changed as the years went on. During the first few seasons, the panelists could ask as many questions as they wanted until they got a "No." answer. Later on in the show's run, the format changed to one question at a time.

  • Simply too cute!! This fabulous person is greatly missed

  • there was so much game show fixing back in those days that i am not entirely sure that this was one of the ones that was fixed'.... as the panel may have known who was the guests in advance

  • @etrax2000 Good observation. It sure did seem so on some occaisions because some of the panelists came up with the correct answer on who the guest was much too easily.

  • what a beauty she was :D

  • where did the fun game shows like this go now a days?!

  • @jedispaz2002 I agree, I think there is room for shows like this today, I only hope the panelists would be as polite as the ones we see here.

  • Aw, beautiful, Liz. Her answers were brillaint!

  • what a joy. thank you

  • She's brilliant!!! The answers she gave were priceless and the voice she did was hilarious!! hahaha!

  • Their use of language, in the sense that it is more of an art and should at all times be dealt with complete care outcries our present use, or rather misuse of it. A language that has tarnished under the guise of entertainment, or what I'd like to call the demise of our human race. How I wish I lived in the 50's

  • Always loved her.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • @MRhydrogen100 LOL! I'm right behind you, buddy.

  • @MRhydrogen100 Take me with you!

  • ...its great we can see these on Youtube... i remember watching these in my last life...

  • @Aromaticduck me too haha

  • In the first place, she's gorgeous.

In the second place, her voices and accents in this clip are really funny!

  • Real brilliant performance!

  • Elizabeth Taylor did a brilliant southern accent and was a fantastic guest...This show's lineup of guests over the years must rival Larry King's list of guests he has had on Larry King Live over the years, and shows like The Dick Cavett Show and The Dinah Shore Show...Brilliant concept, brilliant show, brilliant panel, brilliant host, brilliant guests...Brilliant!

  • Her mother was Swiss I heard. Do not know about the father but they were from Kansas.

  • I really thought her passing would be more of a big deal than it was.

  • She is awazing :)

  • Barbra Streisand on What's my Line was THE BEST guest for this show! :DD lol I love her ♥

  • ironically she was pretty tame by Hollywood standards. If she's to be believed, she only slept with seven people her whole life

  • @okonh0wp

.... slept with only seven people?? Yeah, I guess that's true, if you're counting ONLY her husbands.

  • @cheeriosinabowl i know. she said she never slept with anyone she didn't marry. that might be fewer than most starlets

  • She looks so innocent and virtuous here.

  • how funny! the other lady says, "as long as she doesn't (pick the other husband)" if they only knew the future !

  • My favorite WML ever!! She was so gorgeous and funny!!! Even her signature was amazing!

  • my god, she was so beautiful.

  • She used a version of that funny little voice years later when she portrayed Louella Parsons in the film "Hedda and Louella". Liz was interviewed about Louella, whom she had known very well, and she said that "Louella had one of those annoying little whiny voices that at times, made you just want to SMACK her!" She said it with a laugh in her voice, so you knew that she wasn't too terribly serious about it.

  • What are you talking about defined thick shapely eyebrows are an asset!

  • She was just lovely here.

  • Jesus christ, what a babe.

  • One, she has a FABULOUS signature.. Second, she had such a sense of humor! I never tire of seeing this clip : ) You are missed Dame Taylor.

  • @DickFaulkner

    She was cute.

  • Elizabeth Taylor was very beautiful :)

  • Liz couldn't wait for the show to be over so she could get it on with Big Daddy John Daly. She couldn't get enough of that stud. Always kept him in tight swimming trunks and hard liquor.

  • @62easthar62 Are you serious? Whoa!

  • Shame they are all dead.

  • @DaveScott69 I know i love all these clips but sometimes they are somewhat sad to watch.

  • Elizabeth Taylor was more than special. She was UNIQUE.

  • SO BEAUTIFUL!

  • i wrote a song 4 her called :"Lisbeth Taylor Song" give in the seach box to listen. thx

    RIP

  • Her closest friends say she was very funny, this vintage clip truly encapsulates her wit and humor....Rest In Peace Dear Elizabeth

  • that's her real accent, right?

  • love the accent, she sounds so sweet... she defo knew how to make people roar with laughter, imagine if she had done stand up comedy, now that would of been something worth paying to see! if i could say something to her it would be: 'i love you Liz, you have been my idol since i was a baby & will always be till the day my eyes close forever! i miss you'.. i'm 16 in june & i'm dressing up as her in tribute :D

  • loved how she turned southren in the middle of the video

  • Hahaha whenever english people talk shit about americans I imagine them speaking in that really ugly/snobby type of accent.

  • she's my idol....apart from all the husbands. i miss her.

  • haha what a bunch of schmohawks. she was totally british thats why she was a dame for fucks sake. she was born in england. i dunno whats up with the yanks. they are so pathetic over identity. millions of the idiots call themselves irish, not even irish-american. but irish. even though there only connection was that their grandad once visited dublin for a pint of guiness. lol stupid fuckers.

  • she's so beautiful omg

  • her voice is too cute..LOL! R.I.P.

  • R.I.P♥

  • such a great show business talent. Always able to make a major appearance

  • why didnt marilyn monroe ever do whats my line? x

  • @NathanJesseMcCarthy Not sure, but I always wondered that about Ingrid Bergman.

  • i watched this before she died

  • @tutus4life Wow! Congratulations to you. If i had a prize, I would've have given it to you.

  • @JPLV I wasn't trying to be cool by saying that. I really did watch this( many times actually) I think it's the funniest one and I always watched this when I needed a good laugh, then only a couple months after I learned of her death :( I sense the sarcasm, but I wasn't trying to be anything but sincere.

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! A extremely beautiful lady! She was a also a very talent actress, check her out in, "The Last Time I Saw Paris" (1954), "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (1958), "BUtterfield 8" (1960), " Cleopatra" (1963), "The V.I.P.s (1963), and, "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" (1966), really great movies!!!!!!

  • if there was a standard that any actress should go by even to this day it should be hers.

  • Here in this classic b&w 1950's(or '60s)era tv game show,Liz having short hair looks akinda like,"Jane Wiedlin",of the 1980's all female band,"the Go-Gos".

  • @TheXtro101 It was that short "Italian-Style" hairdo that was so popular for a while. Lucy spoofed it on one of her "I Love Lucy" shows.

  • @weightfeather1 You got that right. I've always thought the same. It was the in-style sexy thing at that time.

  • The best WML performance by a mystery guest I've seen. Wonderful.

  • RIP...

  • Fuck, she was beautiful...

  • She is so cute in this. Her accent and performance really show how talented she was. She was certainly an iconic actress, world figure and a great American.

Rest in Peace Elizabeth, it's hard to believe you're gone.

  • I like to know if her signature on the black board was saved?

  • She's so funny && pretty - btw are they blindfolded - with bras.........

  • Gorgeous, and oozing with talent! RIP, dear sweet La Liz...

  • What beautiful eyes.

  • rest in peace beautiful lady. please watch my tribute video to her.

  • LIZ,she was,she is ,and she will always be the EPITOME OF PERFECTION.

  • May she rest in peace.

  • Lizzy u rock girl

    R.I.P

  • The man asking the questions sounds like a Kennedy brother.

  • @onehotminutex

    Bennett Cerf? No relation.

  • @UofLCardFan08 haha i know he's not a relation, just the accent.

  • Goodbye Elizabeth Taylor you will be missed!!!!

  • RIP, Liz.
