Neat job, my Moving Images project will have a Sin City influence to, but I'm not entirely sure how to pull it off. Would I have to manipulate every single frame in Photoshop as if they were separate images, or is there a much easier way? I have access to Final Cut Express but not yet familiar with how to use it.
Nice dude but why did you do it all in photoshop? All the effects you used can be achieved within afterFX. Plus you can import files as a sequence to get al the frames in the correct order right away. Ow and one tip: in your render settings turn "render fields" off and deinterlace your footage. bigup!
This is pretty cool. Though all the effects you did in photoshop can be achieved within aftereffects itself. This greatly speeds up the process. It seems as if it is filmed framebyframe wich gives it a nice comic like effect. Keep it up man!
AFter you are finished editing each frame what are the settings to export them back in because my programe adobe premiere pro has it defaulted to 5 secs how is this done?
im in the prosess of planning to make a short story film. and i hope to do it sort of in a way that this was filmed, any tips or suggestions would be GREATLY appriciated :)
Photoshop is your best friend. Definitely save a work path so that every frame can be illustrated with the push of a button after you've confirmed your settings.
Also, I'd avoiding any audio that isn't added in post, because it'll be near impossible to maintain the frame rate for everything to match in the end.
Thanks for the positive review. Let me know if you need anything else.
i really need to know how you did the effect of having a person just simply white. im assuming you used a green screen. im trying to make pretty much a homemade green screen. so im not sure how good i can make it. i just would like to know how exactly you did it. just sort of a path from someone who has succeeded in doing it.
This is brilliant. It's so short but its great. I almost want ot watch a longer version of it. i've just started experimenting with after effects too.
I did a 5 sec experiment. it's not anything special but let me know what you think please.

what effect is this in after effects. i really like it. good job pal
momo261086 4 years ago
Most of it was rotoscoped by exporting individual frames into photoshop. I only used after effects to lay in backgrounds, etc...
