How about stop charging $50 for two tickets when I can buy two sabres tickets for $70. And how about making the playoffs and affiliating yourself with a team thats not 1,200 miles away. Then maybe youll get more fans to the game.
Becoming affiliated with the Buffalo Sabres would go a looong way towards resolving this issue. No one cares about prospects for the Florida Panthers. And if that can't happen, then at least field a competitive team. Without affilitation to Buffalo, and without a winner, why should they care? Because they love hockey? I'd rather just stay at home and put my money toward Direct TV where the NHL Network exists, and/or the get the NHL package.
You can't expect fans to pay their hard earned money to support a team which does not reciprocate on their own end. The Florida Panthers orginization doesn't give a crap about our Rochester Amerks... we need Buffalo back desperately. It's no coincidence that the orginization started to go downhill right at the time of the switch in parent clubs.
Wow.I have supported this team since my dad took me to my first game back in 1989. I think that this commercial is kind of a spit in the face to the fans who have shown up. So your saying we dont matter. You wanna know why attendence is down because the team isnt consistant. I love this team enough to say that. I remember the huge crowd last year when we played the crunch . How bout this you give us a team who is constantly playing 60 min then people will show up. Dont bite the hand that feeds u
@jigglez585 I don't see it that way at all. Of course they are not saying you don't matter, if anything they are grateful for people who do come. And one big crowd in two seasons is not a very big accomplisment. I remember waiting in line a long time just when playoff tickets went on sale (St. Catharines, first round, early 80s). People were lined up outside the door, all the way to the Broad Street bridge. We need that kind of enthusiasm again. Yes, a good team would help .. a lot.
This is sad, and I hope it will turn some heads and start bringing the crowd back! It is so much more fun with lots of people there cheering the team on!!

Pegula. Finish this deal up so I can drive 45 minutes to see our prospects wreck shit up.

Yes, it's all about the affiliate. Syracuse is averaging 5000 a game with their lifelong obsession, the Anaheim Ducks.
Next year, after the game in the Carrier Dome, Syracuse will have drawn in one crowd, the equivalent of 10 Rochester average crowds this year.
Go AMJERKS!

Get rid of Florida, make a new deal with the Sabers. That's the solution.

Was that a veiled threat? You guys can't remember the crowds when the team was in first place last year?

@NebulaOcton The crowds last year, even when they were in first place, were not good at all. I know, I went to the games.
