My husband and I sat up late last night watching your train travel series , you had us cracking up in some of them. My husbands favorite is when your talking about being a tour guide for LA,
I have slept in quite a few cars. The ones with the reclining seats are the best! My girlfriend is spoiled. She gets a minivan with a memory foam mattress...
in 2008 I had an 88 Chevy Van with storage in the back that double as a bed frame. I had a full size double pillow top mattress in the back full of pillows... had a TV drawers for my clothes and I left it parked while I drove my car to work. Was homeless but never unemployed. Funny. I only became unemployed when I had a place to live :) See my channel for the playlists to those video diaries
Cool. My last purchase was a diesel pickup I bought from a guy during his drive to LAX to leave the country forever. I got a bargain rate because the only other option he had was to abandon it in the airport parking lot.
i bought some cars form those kinds of places. surprized they were in better shape then some used dealship cars. sold them all. dmv told me if i sold one more cars i would need a dealers certification that year. 11 cars in 8 months. i need to start doing that again in my old area. yep if i was that position i would rather ben a car too. my accounts all screwy. lucky i can watch videos again. so whats up?
And with the high cost of gas I'm sure there are a lot more of these gas guzzlers donated to charity. Your attorney friend can get a much better deal today...
yea, cars fall in price very quick, people shouldn't just scrap em, could take seats out and make a bed in there, it has a roof, it's far better than being rained on and is protection from nippy wind and thiefs can't sneak up on you so easy.
I believe it, it's abit warmer there though, it's an aption,I mean I did it,slept in cars in europe while travelling, but even so in Britain, it's something to be thought about,I think homeless, should get a small van or RV as you call them, it's something at least, only as a irst step mind, it's no long term solution!
And if you're really lucky, you can find a church that will let you park it on (or tow it to) their parking lots. Cops are more reticent to abuse people on private property.
here is a tip.... buy some dentures...

I always buy older cars for cheap.
Been lucky so far with this last one.
Runs great and I can sell it for more or
the same as what I paid. 214K miles so far.
Going for 300K miles.

When weather is on, a tin tent on wheels must look alright I reckon.

I'd rather sleep in a car than in the park

That reminds me. I need to do a video on The Park People. They loved living in Alondro Park. Very clique-ish, thoough.

Gas guzzlers are the best mobil tents. Even the immobil ones.

Hummm, a cadillac in my garden would do a great place to relax, after a few alterations of course!

Try to find the big pre-78 model. The 29 footer. More leg room.

I'm sure i will find one in portugal, lol!

I notice you used the "Bo Dote Song" for the intro.

I made that in Garageband. I like to recycle it once in a while.

L.A. has tens of thousands of people homeless on wheels.

It makes perfect sense to me. You can lock it AND if it runs, then you could possibly have AIR CONDITIONING!

It's luxury living for the sidewalk set. The old man never paid over $400 for any of the 29 cars the police took from him.
marquisdejolie 3 years ago
Yes! Having a car definitely gets you OFF the sidewalk and OUT from under the bridge, for SURE :D
katalina2007 3 years ago
I preferred it. Slept in a Chevy Lumina, a Buick Electra and a Ford El Dorado (RV).
marquisdejolie 3 years ago
I would prefer sleeping in a car, too! It sure beats the alternative!
