This mission is so BLAMING HARD!!! How do you have enough credits to fully restore everything AND build units? Im playing it on the 360 and they send WAY more units at you than what they are doeing here. What gives?
I always sell my AA batteries and walls then pump out 9 Pitbulls and all the Predators I can do with 2 Harvies minding the tib. The Riflemen I get from the defenses I throw into the buildings south-west, taking out the idiotic Fanatics. When your MCV arrives it WILL get buttfucked by fanatics if you don't bring APC's with Riflement in front (use the same off the defenses)

I just beat this misioin ill give tips... 1 at VERRY FIRST heal and turn on defence than... 2 build 10 APC 3 build 6 engineeres and 4 rockets 4 build 4 tanks 5 ruch the NE bace and take... 6 teck lab (sell) 7 war factory ( keep or sell) 8 take MCV 9 wipe out the rest 10 build bace up with NOD 11... do your thang! HOPE IT HELPED
I have bought this game for PC and it doesnt work for some reason. it lets me go into a level and then it just stops working and gives and error message.
@ooosteve Start the game, head to the "Options" tab in the main menu and select "Settings". It'll bring you to the "graphics" section which is the first page. Then look at the top right corner where you'll find the "Shaders" tab. Default settings are usually set to low, move it to either High or Medium. I found a thread on the net saying that there was a problem with TW3 running on Intel graphic cards. And this solutions works perfectly for me. I do run an Intel graphics card. Hope it helped.

Okay this version dosent work.. but i finally managed to do it on normal... so the key of the tactic is in start you do 2x ACP put them on west and south gates with rocketmans. Then u do tiger tanks but u always look tiger tanks out when the tank is going to get low on lives u take him back to tankhouss. so It will repair tanks then send them back to field. DONT go to save the main vehiacle without 10 quarding and go 20 tanksi also suggest to derminate the base in the left-down corner..bad eng
any of you try using riflemen's sandbags ability, there like 100 and they are just like a watchtower, spam about 2-5 on each of the infantry entrances and you good with nod infantry, do the same for the vehicles to help out the guardian cannons except you fill the sandbags thing with rockets (they work like a garrison), fill in a couple predator tanks/ apc to fill in the holes, juggle the power and build a couple harvesters and your good for this part of the mission...
I played it today and a i played it months ago allready. I noticed after some patches, the Balance of Unites have changed and GDI is alot WEAKER than befor. Specially the sniper is so useless now. And the Bazooka Trooper of NOD are to strong, speically when they send them as Huge armys. My Towers were Crunched after 3 Attacks.
I like the game in the past, but now the balance made me change my opinion.
i did this mission last night on the 360 version wat i did i put 2 apcs with men in them near the bridges and i survied the first 5 mins then sent up 5 tanks up to the bass took most of the enemys and structures out they killed me then i just sent up 7 more tanks:D then i dominated this mission took me a hour:)
i found a tactic that works. build 5 APCs and predator tanks and recruit 5 engineers. put the engi's in the apcs and order the predators to attack the enemy tanks that show up. then go to the enemy vehicle factory with your predators out front apcs behind. when you reach the enemy base destroy the anti-tank turrets and destroy the vehicle factories.they will use bikes to try to stop you while you're attacking the factories. when the factories are destroyed, move an apc next to the enemy MCV and
just have one watch tower on each side powered up all the cannons and 1 tank on each side train 10 missle squads and rifle men and assualt the bottom base and then clear the city bring in the mcv take out the top base bring a surveror to the top ridge build a war factory above the last bast and destroy it with mammoths
This mission is the reason I stopped playing the game on 360. Well, now that I'm an achievment whore, leaving the MASSIVE Gscore behind as well as not finishing an amazing games seems a little stupid. Going to try and finish this mission using step by step copying on your videos. Thank you much. I do agree, the game is not any different on PC as I have it on my laptop and there a bout equal and there's no major differences other than the unit limit and maps.
I played this mission two days ago and the best thing to do is to destroy the north-eastern Nod base asap, or capture it in order to build Nod units. That makes the rest of the mission way easier. Then you can retrieve the MCV with no problem. Just clear the way for it.
This mission is fun if u can do it correct in 10 min,allow me to explain. 10x apc 5x engineers 5x riflemen 5x predators= win,capture the southwest base with the eng/apc rush then play as normal nod strats until you recover the gdi mcv:) just capped the nod base,game gets easier with a base XD

i dont know if itll help but i bulked my defense up wiv predator tanks, get the railgun upgrade then build about 10-12 mammoth tanks, and atleats one airfiled with 4 planes, may take a while due to resouce cost just make sure to repair ur mammoth tanks as they get dammaged defending ur base, use planes to take out the buttom turrets of the mod base then swarm it with ur mammoths from the south this worked for me hope it helped abit
WTF? When i do this mission i have a SHITLOAD of flamethrower and rocket launchers guys always bullrushing me, and the fucking missle launchers guys keep standing out of range of my turrents shooting range.
IF you are talking about the blinking, I think it's lack of power of my processor unable to handle the game and save millions of bits a second. New vids will be better.

when i played my friends game of this he bought, i always got stuck here. its sooo freakin hard. so i tryed the NOD campagin. i got stuck when u have to defend the huge nod bace aganst like 4 rebel nod baces that the units start WITH 4 FKIN RANKS UP!! so fking hard -.- EVEN ON FREAKIN EASY!!!
On the NOD campaign that level is simple, build up like 5 oblesks of light towers at each entrance where the enemy comes from, for me it was a lot from the far right. Then a shit load of anti air guns then build 2 or 3 NOD airfields and all bombers and work on the enemy airfields and war factories. :D easy but a long time to do so. And yeah I'm stuck on one where you have 15,000 moneys then only a commando, 2 flying guys 2 flamethrowers and 4 flame tanks....it's hard cuz you have to capture gdi.
agreed. This is the reason i gave up on 360. I also gave up on NOD when you need to hold off in that urban part against like 4 GDI bases. Why the hell did they make this one so damn hard!!!!!!!!
I was litterly screaming at it. How can a defend against two enermy bases, the occasional bomber from a thrid base and send a group of tanks out to help the other convoy!
The bonus objective of having the mcv 100% health really annoyed me :/. The other day i did it a different way to getting the mcv first. Captured the NE base and then used that to add to my other base and cleared all but one of the objective buildings and got the mcv back to base :D.
I was frustrated by this several months ago and just revisited. I almost made it twice: once I forgot to protect my convoy across the bridge but I had about 20 vehicles, enough to reclaim the base if I had. Another I reclaimed the base with about a dozen vehicles but I forgot I could sell things and rebuild my refinery and army. I made an immediate stand and was killed. When I though I was getting better, I was getting worse. Should have tried it on easy but removed the game from HD ...
send predator tanks to the point where your allies will appear. that's how I won the map. then I captured nod air tower and finished off the other bases with vertigo bombers. but yeah it was a very hard mission
lol i did it a different way from every 1. i build 3 predator tanks, 5 Apcs and 5 rocket soldiers and put them in the apc. Then when the reinforcements came i sent every thing i got to go there. they battle my way to the base. then i put 1 apc on the bridge to kill the sudice bomber dudes. and the rest to completety wipe the base of the NOD.
u wanna know how to win easily and keep mu in the gam,e everywone heres wht i do i built around 5 harvesters...for faster cash then! u spam some predator and apc's destory the tank base but not the con yard capture it wit an engineer and voula ull have nod units to back up the base tht is alredy under att gl :)!
Passive attack to get into base then, destroy cannons and units, then war factories. Take over another construction yard and build a refinery to mine Tiberium field. Then create 2 nod airfield and one gdi, power all aa guns. Train 8 vertigo bombers and airlift all left over tanks, attack SE base with tanks and use Vertigo Bombers to support the destruction of buildings/structures. Hope this helps, this is how I redid this mission on normal.
OK, create another harvester, 4 preds per anti tank cannon and keep repairing them and the base defences. Deploy all the current infantry to apc's on S and E entrances. Create around 6 more preds and take apcs to destroy SW base. Capture construc yard with engineer, build more laser tank defences and deploy on main base. Return MCV (unharmed hopefully due to lower threat of infantry assaults) and create 6 more preds, take all tanks and destroy NE base, (passive attack)
Did this on hard on old comp, but missions soon got solid, so on new comp I'm doing it on normal. I'm stuck and can't remember how I did it. I think one of the patches must have increased the range of the rocket soldier so that it can fire out of the range of the turrets. As far as I remember I attacked the south east base to remove the threat of infantry.
The problem for us Xbox 360 users is that the extra two seconds or so it takes to select 'Repair' over the buildings and guns adds up. I hate this mission with a passion. I've been trying for a month now and I'm still no closer to completing it. I survive up until my reinforcements arrive, and then, while guiding them back to base, wave after wave of fanatics suicide bomb the shit out of the MCV and I fail. This mission will go down in history as one of the hardest mid-game missions ever.
what I did after the reinforcements came was to capture the nod vehicle base. then used nod weaponary to clear the entire area till i deemed it was safe enough for reinforcement to come.
what i did was shit me pants lol i have done this level before on hard but it was a nightmare,i stopped playing the game for some reason,but i started the game again today and have got to this level on hard will attempt soon,
Can't pass the damn mission. When i go for reinforcements NOD completely crush down my base. And the strike team i send to get the reinforcements fall down(don't have grenade squad to clear the buildings). I can't pass the mission on Easy difficult. I survive without problems but damn reinforcements!
i got it heres what to do turn on the bottom right corner aa only then turn on all mgs and 3 rocket dffences build an extra havester then fight your way up to the top right corner destory there deffences and offences only then capture the power generators (ignore the reinforcements for now)now fight your way to the bottom left and take out everything now bring the mcv to your bass and build aircraft to take out the bottom right
Man, I'm doing this mission on easy and still can't pass it. Somehow the heavy armor manages to destroy my tanks before i get a chance to move into the base. Should I try this on hard or does it make any difference on the speed of becoming a veteran if I play on easy or hard. I'm from finland so sorry if you don't understand my writing.
The way he pulls back his Predators in this example, is too slow! I managed to keep every single one of my Predators on Hard so it can be done. They become Veteran much quicker on Hard, but the resistance is equally matched! I believe this is one of the most irritating missions in C&C!
-get about 12 pred tanks and go west, then move them into the north veh. base killing turrets, tanks, then the factorys
-while this is happening keep the apcs on killing the troops that keep pouring in the south repair any damaged apcs 50%+ build more if needed
Once north base is done use all you have to finish off the south base (quicker you move along the less chance they tech up) Scrap it now kill all the occupied buildings. save the convoy
after its saved kill all the scripted troops coming in from the west streets then put a couple apcs/pitbulls near the bridges to kill any venoms.
-get mcv to base
-build a air base, vtol all your forces (build silos to save up 500 credits per unit) to the eastern entrance facing north of the air base then sweep and win

OMFG, I can't eliminate the north east base, i tried so many times, even on easy. can somebody help me please. give me tips or something, i am so frustrated,

i dont know if itll help but i bulked my defense up wiv predator tanks, get the railgun upgrade then build about 10-12 mammoth tanks, and atleats one airfiled with 4 planes, may take a while due to resouce cost just make sure to repair ur mammoth tanks as they get dammaged defending ur base, use planes to take out the buttom turrets of the mod base then swarm it with ur mammoths from the south this worked for me hope it helped abit

WTF? When i do this mission i have a SHITLOAD of flamethrower and rocket launchers guys always bullrushing me, and the fucking missle launchers guys keep standing out of range of my turrents shooting range.

thats how i did:
Build 15-20 predators + 1 APC with enginier
Then rush the Base (Leave the Construction Yard Unharmed)
Take it over and build some Venoms and clear the city
so it should be easy to get the mcv back to your base

when i played my friends game of this he bought, i always got stuck here. its sooo freakin hard. so i tryed the NOD campagin. i got stuck when u have to defend the huge nod bace aganst like 4 rebel nod baces that the units start WITH 4 FKIN RANKS UP!! so fking hard -.- EVEN ON FREAKIN EASY!!!

On the NOD campaign that level is simple, build up like 5 oblesks of light towers at each entrance where the enemy comes from, for me it was a lot from the far right. Then a shit load of anti air guns then build 2 or 3 NOD airfields and all bombers and work on the enemy airfields and war factories. :D easy but a long time to do so. And yeah I'm stuck on one where you have 15,000 moneys then only a commando, 2 flying guys 2 flamethrowers and 4 flame tanks....it's hard cuz you have to capture gdi.

agreed. This is the reason i gave up on 360. I also gave up on NOD when you need to hold off in that urban part against like 4 GDI bases. Why the hell did they make this one so damn hard!!!!!!!!

I was litterly screaming at it. How can a defend against two enermy bases, the occasional bomber from a thrid base and send a group of tanks out to help the other convoy!

The bonus objective of having the mcv 100% health really annoyed me :/. The other day i did it a different way to getting the mcv first. Captured the NE base and then used that to add to my other base and cleared all but one of the objective buildings and got the mcv back to base :D.

I was frustrated by this several months ago and just revisited. I almost made it twice: once I forgot to protect my convoy across the bridge but I had about 20 vehicles, enough to reclaim the base if I had. Another I reclaimed the base with about a dozen vehicles but I forgot I could sell things and rebuild my refinery and army. I made an immediate stand and was killed. When I though I was getting better, I was getting worse. Should have tried it on easy but removed the game from HD ...

send predator tanks to the point where your allies will appear. that's how I won the map. then I captured nod air tower and finished off the other bases with vertigo bombers. but yeah it was a very hard mission

lol i did it a different way from every 1. i build 3 predator tanks, 5 Apcs and 5 rocket soldiers and put them in the apc. Then when the reinforcements came i sent every thing i got to go there. they battle my way to the base. then i put 1 apc on the bridge to kill the sudice bomber dudes. and the rest to completety wipe the base of the NOD.

Passive attack to get into base then, destroy cannons and units, then war factories. Take over another construction yard and build a refinery to mine Tiberium field. Then create 2 nod airfield and one gdi, power all aa guns. Train 8 vertigo bombers and airlift all left over tanks, attack SE base with tanks and use Vertigo Bombers to support the destruction of buildings/structures. Hope this helps, this is how I redid this mission on normal.

OK, create another harvester, 4 preds per anti tank cannon and keep repairing them and the base defences. Deploy all the current infantry to apc's on S and E entrances. Create around 6 more preds and take apcs to destroy SW base. Capture construc yard with engineer, build more laser tank defences and deploy on main base. Return MCV (unharmed hopefully due to lower threat of infantry assaults) and create 6 more preds, take all tanks and destroy NE base, (passive attack)

Did this on hard on old comp, but missions soon got solid, so on new comp I'm doing it on normal. I'm stuck and can't remember how I did it. I think one of the patches must have increased the range of the rocket soldier so that it can fire out of the range of the turrets. As far as I remember I attacked the south east base to remove the threat of infantry.

The problem for us Xbox 360 users is that the extra two seconds or so it takes to select 'Repair' over the buildings and guns adds up. I hate this mission with a passion. I've been trying for a month now and I'm still no closer to completing it. I survive up until my reinforcements arrive, and then, while guiding them back to base, wave after wave of fanatics suicide bomb the shit out of the MCV and I fail. This mission will go down in history as one of the hardest mid-game missions ever.

what I did after the reinforcements came was to capture the nod vehicle base. then used nod weaponary to clear the entire area till i deemed it was safe enough for reinforcement to come.

Can't pass the damn mission. When i go for reinforcements NOD completely crush down my base. And the strike team i send to get the reinforcements fall down(don't have grenade squad to clear the buildings). I can't pass the mission on Easy difficult. I survive without problems but damn reinforcements!

i got it heres what to do turn on the bottom right corner aa only then turn on all mgs and 3 rocket dffences build an extra havester then fight your way up to the top right corner destory there deffences and offences only then capture the power generators (ignore the reinforcements for now)now fight your way to the bottom left and take out everything now bring the mcv to your bass and build aircraft to take out the bottom right

Man, I'm doing this mission on easy and still can't pass it. Somehow the heavy armor manages to destroy my tanks before i get a chance to move into the base. Should I try this on hard or does it make any difference on the speed of becoming a veteran if I play on easy or hard. I'm from finland so sorry if you don't understand my writing.

The way he pulls back his Predators in this example, is too slow! I managed to keep every single one of my Predators on Hard so it can be done. They become Veteran much quicker on Hard, but the resistance is equally matched! I believe this is one of the most irritating missions in C&C!

Normal patch 1.09
-build 1 harvester, 4 apcs and 2 more riflemen squads
-fill apcs and assign a group/ assign har. #2 to top field
-keep all guard. turs and se + nw AA guns on rest off
-repair as needed till reins arrive then the bonus is completed
Now as you are waiting build nothing but pred tanks (slowly, save some for repairs)
Now you need to micromange, get two groups of preds on the N and W entrance, repair @ when nec

when mcv comes Ignore it.
-get about 12 pred tanks and go west, then move them into the north veh. base killing turrets, tanks, then the factorys
-while this is happening keep the apcs on killing the troops that keep pouring in the south repair any damaged apcs 50%+ build more if needed
Once north base is done use all you have to finish off the south base (quicker you move along the less chance they tech up) Scrap it now kill all the occupied buildings. save the convoy

after its saved kill all the scripted troops coming in from the west streets then put a couple apcs/pitbulls near the bridges to kill any venoms.
-get mcv to base
-build a air base, vtol all your forces (build silos to save up 500 credits per unit) to the eastern entrance facing north of the air base then sweep and win

just take over the tank base.
1. deffend your base with predators until they are heroes
2.build an APC + Ing. and drive with predators and APC to the tank base
3. destroy the turrets and you got it!
