Thanks for sharing that bit of amazing history. One little piece you forget to mention is that ONE of those original Holiday One cars is still in operation today at Disneyland. Thanks to Matt Ouimet for approving the restoration of the Lilly Belle as that car was one of the six original Holiday One train cars. So what you saw up in San Luis Obispo was almost the entire original Holiday One train. Again, thank you for amazing historical and new footage of some Disneyland history
Is there any place where we can help donate money to restore the coaches and combines back to their original looks, because such a grand piece of history can't be forgotten and left to rot!
my dad has some old movies when he was a kid when the stage coaches were there, Indian village and also the good old mine train. So crazy how time changes, bring more innovations to Disney and boy is it a lot more crowded. I'm have to find them watch it on old projector again.
This was a Truly Awesome Documentary that Really Captured the History of Something so Significant as the Disneyland Railroad itself! The Train was the Very First Ride that I ever went on at Disneyland (at least as far as I can remember!) And seeing the Original Cars and Trains get Restored to it's once awesome Glory is Truly Magnificent! Thank You So Much for Posting This, and I hope that we get more Events in History like this Someday, for I know the Magic will always Go On!! =)
