  • 67 GM emblem on door jamb should be aqua not blue !

68 -75 used the blue emblems

    1967 was a 1 yr only aqua color !

I have a pair if your interested ?

  • What a nice car. You are a very lucky person. Enjoy it.

  • I love it. I will have one..

  • what type of shape was it in when you bought it?

  • @BUNDLEofHELL

It was pretty rough shape, the pics pretty much tells you what shape it was in :o)

  • What a beauty!!:)

  • about how much money did u spend restoring this car??? it was very much worth all the time and effort!!

  • The GTO rumble......is that sexy or what??!!

  • im looking for a gto to restore any idea where i can find one or how much is a restored gto im 20

  • I know the feeling watching the car drive away or watching it leave on a flat bed. I restored a car that was ready for the heap. It was a 1949 Ford. Replaced and remanufactured everything on it pretty much every screw wasn't left untouched. pretty crazy. And then I had to sell it.

  • @kevykev38

thanxs for the comment, sorry to hear that my friend.... yeah that day really sucked, i cried inside as i watched it leave on the back of the flaatbed... a little piece of me died that day...

  • Those GTO's with the 'stacked' headlights are my favorite.

    Cool video!

  • Im a Ford Man For life, but my dads Gm and i have a little spot for them, but the 1960's GTO is my Favorite and by far the ULTIMATE muscle car

  • wow..what a great video.......then I saw your comment that you had to sell it....that really sucks. sure hope the new owner treats it right, cause you sure did....damm economy

  • @XboobtubeX

Thanks for the compliment, I hope they treat her right too... I miss her

    ttyl

  • Man I remember that sound, I had one back in 1967 looked just like yours. It was the best car I have ever owned, where did the time go.

Thanks for sharing, brings back a lot of happy memories.

  • I appreciate classic cars but I think if they are restored they should be restored to something better than what came from the factory over 40 years ago. Technologies have improved and I think treating yourself to those newer technologies is a privilege we have these days.

  • Excellent. I took my driving test with that car 3 times and failed because of the thrush muffler on it. LMAO. Great video my friend.

  • how can anyone not like old muscle cars! i think most people do but if you dont SCREW YOU CAUSE YOUR GAY WHO DRIVES LITTLE GIRL CARS

  • I was half-way finished with a restoration when I had to move out of the country. Rather than sell it, a friend let me keep it in his garage. I am even making payments on it from here (Brazil). There's a chance I will not see it again for many years, if ever. But knowing that she's there and that she is mine is better than selling it.

    You broke my heart man.....

  • i have look at the video and i think you have done a brilent job i am try to build up to one of there but i am starting with a old mini

  • hello i have look at the video and i think you have done a brilent job

  • I had a 67 Goat when I was in high school, my Dad's initials were OTE, so everyone called it the "OTE GOAT", cream yellow, black top, black interior, his her transmission, special edition engine, and she would frekin fly, then my dumb sister wrecked it, she never coudl drive, but speaking for myself I used to race US Hwy 1 in Miami by Coconut Grove, FL, a black dude in a pink Cadillac tried to catch me all the time, but he did not have a prayer, best car ever.

  • a 400 is a 6.6 the 389 was a 6.5lit

  • @pontiacman1979

This is true, but Pontiac classified the 400 as a 6.5 until the end of production in 1968. As a matter of fact they continued to use the 6.5 emblem on the GTO thru the 1968 production, guess they figured the dissplacement was closer to that of a 6.5 liter

  • This is my favorite car ever!

  • Update: Due to this crappy economy and lack of work, I recently had to sell my pride and joy. I hope the new owner gets as much pleasure and enjoyment from her as I have. Maybe one day I will be able to have another just like her….Thanks to everyone for their comments…

  • @flagator67 that really sucks but later you might be able to buy another one cheap from other people who need money. they're getting really cheap

  • @flagator67 how much did it sell for?

  • @flagator67 Sad to hear that, so were against the wall then? Had no choice i guess, id stick my car in the garage to save it if i was in a fix.

  • @flagator67 I'm so sorry to hear that man... That's heartbreaking, really. I do hope you find another one in the future. Best of luck.

  • @flagator67 What did you end up getting for it? Sorry you had to sell and you didn't call ME!

  • <-----crying sounds sooooo beautiful man i miss how the engines sound compared to now... I just watched Modern Marvels about Muscles Cars and wow i truley miss these 1 of a kind bad ass cars. To ur tuners u stand NO CHANCE IN HELL against 1 of these with NOS or without so please when u see a muscle car just put ur tail between ur legs n walk away cause ur a lil girl who cant handle REAL MUSCLE

  • hi, what sort of ball park figure would you say u spent on it between start and finish?

    was the engine rebuilt proffesionally?

    beautiful car, great job

  • yes, the engine was rebuilt at a local machine shop, the rest of the work i have done myself, i have about 20 k invested so far....i figure i have saved a ton of money by doing all the work myself, plus it has been a fun project, it still needs a few more things to be complete tho... thanks
