  • Beautiful work!

  • @SirDoomTheGreat Thats it

  • how large a vacuum do you use i have a starter kit that does a small amount and i was wondering for larger parts do you need to use higher vacuum? great video.

  • @carbongecko I run around 20 inches

  • I would like to know where you get your cf matting at and which of the matting do you you prefer.

  • @ej6gt30r I like the twill weaves...you can find everything need in the buyers resource section of the fab forums

  • Can you show the vacuum bagging part? how that works, what materials you used, where you got them from?, you didn't really explain anything

  • @dburdett84 I have had several others also ask about this...I will try to get a video up of the bagging process soon.

  • ahhh. you skipped the only part i was interested in. the vacuum bagging......

  • @watzupdawg No...I wouldnt be against it though

  • @thefabforumscom Solidworks is pretty amazing.

  • @watzupdawg Thanks

  • Talent!

  • @TruheadzaNo Thanks

  • bro were do you buy the carbon fiber sheets? do you buyem on a website? and the resins

  • @david23333 yea all the supplies you will need can be found in the "buying resource" section of thefabforums web site.

  • i've been looking for a channel like this! nice work!

  • @drewmaloy Thanks...keep watching and join us over at TheFabForums site.

  • How do you get the carbon into the corners without it bunching together? Or do you just let it bunch up and the vac flattens it?

  • @VR6andCabby I was able to get it all to lay flat. The twill weave will "flex" to fit all the contours. If for what ever reason it does bunch up you can just the the vac bag flatten it out

  • @thefabforumscom Thank you very much!

  • Whats the name of the resin and wax did you use? Also, Did you buy the vaccuum that you used to suck the air in the mold?

  • @araimundo1 The resin is called aeropoxy, the wax was just plane jane carnuba car wax. Everthing you need can be found in the resource section of thefabforums site. The complete build is also documented on there. I did buy the vacuum. It pulls about 20 inches of vac.
