It sounds more like Joe Walsh to me than McCartney. Though I do understand the McCartney reference. Sounds like Walsh Barnstorm album. Especially the guitar effect. Also the lightheartedness of the opening riff and percussion have the charm and humor of Walsh.
definitely a classical sounding intro. voice reminds me more of rod stewart than plant though i can see where that comes from. plants cooler anyway. also from some reason reminds me of queen a little bit. with all those notes i guess he didnt leave much out
@dlken Yes, the long rest on leading notes is really Mozartish. It's a pitty, that you have to do it with a fckin trash guitar sound, to adapt it to some actually goer style, it really sounds dumm. I know they want it to, but it still sounds dumm. It makes it more a piece of art than a piece of music. Cheers!
@dlken Certainly something classical, a la Randy Rhoads via soulful garage psych pop. If I knew my composers better, I could throw out comparisons... but I have failed you, Internets.
I love this! Fuck they are so good. It really makes me mad that people who are different, with an original sound, with talent, don't even have 1% of the fame that some rich little no talent whore like Miley Cyrus has. :(
Saw you dudes in Brussel. Nice Job Keep going ^^.

Am I the only one who thinks they're channeling some Mozart in that guitar line? I love it either way.

I like it but it reminds me too much of the beatles, I might as well just put on sgt peppers
goodbeachyness 7 months ago
@goodbeachyness This doesn't sound like Sgt. Peppers stuff at allll. You could argue Rubber Soul MAYBE.
FlyBird 7 months ago
@FlyBird Not really the beatles at all, its very much like Paul Mccartney and Wings, especially band on the run album
