  • @MotherFlower666.... The song is a lot older than Dick Dale. It is a traditional song from the middle east, not surprising Dick chose to cover it since he's part lebanese. He probably heard it a lot growing up. :)

  • awesome!!! I really like it!

  • @MotherFlower666 it is called Misirlou and it is an old Greek folk song writen and produced in 1927 by Tetos Demitriades look for it Dick dale and BEP just "stole" it they did not compose anything...............

  • egész ügyi :D

  • sounds like pump it lol

  • @nomnomnomnom0 Pump it used it. It's originally by dick dale - miserlou

  • oh shit. I just imagined fingering herself...

  • @wannatroll

  • You are amazing

  • i have worked out how your so good!,............your mum wasHUMAN + and your dad was a GUITAR!,..

  • girl you are ace because you are a girl for starters, and on YT thats a huge advantage, exploit it if you are desirious of that kind of shallow attention

  • you are just too good.....amazinggg.....what`s that sticker ike below the hole in your guitar???

  • i was like ":OOOO" dam thts good, for all u guys who r starting on guitar or u wanted to learn more of this type of guitar, learn things SLOWLY it might not seem fun or even entertaining but trust me it helps alot, and its sooooooooo true every musical teacher ive ever had has told me " If cant do it slow, then u can do it fast"

  • I thought that was pretty good, except - My guitar teacher always use to say, "If you can't do it slow you can't do it fast." So chill the fuck out and get it worked up to that speed rather than going mad and smacking the utter shite out your guitar.

  • that was very cool:) !

which fingers of the right hand do you use?

  • got pick?

  • I wanna kill 107 people that has disliked this video -_-"

  • awesome :-)

  • great vid, cute girl :)

  • When you first started playing the guitar how long did you practice before it became second nature to you?

  • n!ce

    ^__^

  • excellent playing.......a lots of things to learn.....!!!

  • I'd suggest trying this with a standard 5 stroke flamenco tremolo: P–I–A– M-I (or even just P-A-M-I). That should give you about 40% more notes with about 1/3 less effort.

Personally, I do it in sextuplets on the low E-string like so: I(v) – A(v) – M(v) - I(^) – A(^) – M(^). v=downstroke; ^=upstroke. Admittedly, this is a completely non-standard technique and I don't think it would work on any string other than the low E, but it effectively makes the 6 stroke tremolos effortless.

  • This is the most insane triplet exercise I have at the moment because it's so freakin hard! but it's so fun!

  • bad ass

  • Very nice!! Im always impressed by your videos, you should try the theme song from once upon a time in mexico (Siente Mi Amor)

  • you need a better guita

  • What the hell, you're very fast :3. Congratulations

  • tu es tres douée....bravo

  • WTF?

  • Yeah!! SAY WHAT AGAIN!! SAY WHAT AGAIN!! :D

  • The song has a name!

  • A.W.E.S.O.M.E C.O.O.O.O.L ;)))

  • Play clean....this is more important than being fast.

  • RIGHT ON SISTA..

  • can you please make a tutorial for this? pleease. I can't play it without hitting the rest of the strings D;

  • si existes???..................bella y talentosa

  • Ok a originaly greek/turkish melody together with flamenco rythm sounds a bit strange. but its still pretty cool^^

  • Wow!

I wish I can do this. lol

  • jól gitározol gratulálok

  • its called miserlou and its by dick dale, stop calling it the pulp fiction theme

  • Congratulation! :) I like it so much.

  • I bet it is 10 times easier than using a pick. A lot of practise for that triplet though plus Nail Care :))

    BRAVO

  • bravissima!!!!!!

  • que mierda hace esta tia¡¡¡ vete a cagar zorra¡¡¡

  • teneis la boca llena de razón

  • gracias

  • hakkaten bunada 'amazing' demeyin be..

  • Royal with cheese.

  • try using a pick!!!!

  • LMAO...some people just don't get it !

  • What strumming technique was that?

  • pretty sure its rasqueado

  • While I understand this is a impressive technique, for this type of music wouldnt it be easier just to tremolo with a pick? I understand that she is just showing the technique. Im just saying it seems a bit easier

  • İçine etmişin :)

  • @kockos It's funny isn't it. If you check these kinda peoples profiles you usually will find that they have nothing uploaded, but a post history revealing a lot of expert opinions in almost any topic ;)

  • @kockos logic fail. The fact that you can't do something better doesn't mean that you can't criticize.

  • good for triplet!

  • cool take on misirlou.

  • i hope quinton is listening...you might get a gig on his next masterpiece

    Fabrizio

  • i like that..

  • Very impressive, Edina!

  • some wrote that its tremolo, i dunno whether it is or not but for this piece its gives better sound than tremolo.

  • hi, not bad, but your tab is not correct... if you want I can send you my tab for this song in guitar pro, maybe it is not 100% correct too, but better than this... it is without this triplets, but you can add some... :-)

  • sounds cool !

  • love it

  • It's always good to see creative ways to practice flamenco technique, I really enjoyed that !

  • thats pretty dope, i always wanted to play that song at a metal show!

  • very nice girl! you got that flamenka going eh!

  • skillzzz...

  • estas muy bonita chula

  • Cool

  • Yeah does need some work, it's hard to translate tremolo picking into an actual musical device, but don't pay attention to people like Gman256, you rock :)

  • its a triplet, but i guess if you can play it fast enough it sorta sounds like tremelo, but still... i dont think its a tremelo to begin with.

  • flamenco is also beautiful!

  • you sound like an asshole! you're a fucking

dickhead. honestly. she says in so many words she's just playing with it at this point.

  • Good job girl, keep rockin!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • That's good. I like it.

  • Dick Dale would be proud !! Mike 5*****

  • Very interesting version, Edina!

For the record, this song is a Greek popular song called "Misirlou" which is still played at Greek weddings here in Chicago, and elsewhere I'm sure. The version in the movie is Dick Dale, a surf guitarist whose parents were Lebanese and Polish. He often uses Middle Eastern or "gypsy" styles in his music. Of course, flamenco has lots of Middle Eastern and gypsy influence too, so once again music contains history as well as pleasure.

  • thanks! wow I did not know that!

  • @swingbossa Yes, Dick Dale is also a lefty but plays his quitar strung for the right hand so literally he plays guitar in reverse....

  • Great!!!!!

5 stars because you play very well xD

    Gean.

  • nice one! one day i will be good at flamenco triplet :-s
