This is a project of CFACT, a front for ExxonMobil, Monsanto, and the like. Pro pesticide, pro deforestation, pro anything that's largely polluting industry and requires tons of money and K street lobbyists to get their agenda through without the vast majority of people knowing what's going on.

Indeed it is. It includes links to tax forms indicating Exxon's donations. In CFACT's case, about $580,000 from '98-07.

CFACT's Board of Advisors includes people like Pat Michaels, Willie Soon and Sallie Baliunas whose "climate studies" are funded by the coal and oil industries, and have been repeatedly dismissed by actual climate scientists actually researching climate data in the field.

Doubt is their product, not science. Same thing that happened with Tobacco.

Regardless of whether climate change is man made or not, we must change our energy use to renewable energy sources so we are prepared when our non renewable resources begin to run out.

The sheer ignorance of conservatives bugs the living hell out of me. And I have yet to see a environmental grassroots campaigner that uninformed, and I've ran into quite a bit of them. The CEO of CVS makes $30.5 billion. Clearly money isn't an issue. Gregory B. Maffei of Liberty Media Corp. made $87.5 billion in 2009 alone. So why does cost go up? Corporate greed. Oh, and (man made) global warming is very real. Just takes two seconds to look it up on google, public corp. Talk about propaganda...
