  • Not my favorite color. But damn that thing is beautiful.

  • One is a strat...is the other an esquire? Any idea what the wiring and controls are?

  • i want a quadruple neck because it would be cool as hell

  • would be good for can you hear me knockin

  • THAT IS REALLY COOL.

  • Oh, and thats not the first fender double neck. google it, there have been tons

  • @ruffles272 dude, there is only ONE first fender doubleneck sucker

  • A double 6 is used when you need an alternate tuning on a 6 string neck. Gibson has made a few of these as well.

  • To be honest I don't know that much about double necked guitars other than Jimmy Page had one. Everyone's saying that you need to have one 6 string and one 12 string neck . Can someone like just explain to me the point of a double necked guitar? :)

  • Well basically one of the necks can have 12 strings, and one can have six. So a scenario you would need a double neck in is when you're playing a song that normally would require both a six string guitar, as well as a 12 string guitar, then you could use a double neck and not have to switch between them. Double neck guitars don't always have to have one six and one twelve though. It can be whatever you want. I've heard of some that have one bass guitar and one regular guitar.

  • seems kinda silly to have a double neck with two six string necks in my opinion

  • this cameraman has adhd or something. i was getting dizzy

  • i dont see the point in a double neck unless theres one 6 string and one 12 string neck

  • @Psychoguy99 different tones in each half

  • good lord that was cool. it's a strat. no, it's a tele. no, it's both.

  • Come up with a Les Paul with a fender neck and I'll buy it. (double neck)..

  • @LRMMcDonnell the swich would be for the strat

  • only one pick up on the tele side of the guitar, but still has a toggle switch?

  • @LRMMcDonnell it is a Esquire

  • I like doublenecks, but there's no point of putting together two six strings...

  • @superstriker00 2 tunings?

  • @lordieuan777 Even so, what would the tunings be? If they were used in the same song the only logical tuning to me would be drop d and then e standard so you could play lead and rhythm at the same time...

  • @superstriker00 agree

  • @wtfjaftw Yeah I don't see why people like them either. Too generic and every popular artist has one. I really don't like les pauls... I have one eclipse I think that's the furthest I'll go.... I like the gibson shapes of explorer and bc rich mockingbird shapes

  • do you recon they would have been annoyed had i stolen just one of the necks?

  • @wtfjaftw

because not everyone wants a guitar that looks crazy.i like v's, i like mockingbird, warriors not so much..

i hate les paul necks but like how the les paul looks and sounds.

i would rather take my charvels/fenders anyday though.

  • wat does it accomplish if theyre both 6 strings?

  • @ZenGuy12 one can be tuned diffrently an open tuning, step down, drop D whatever. Plus they are 2 diffrent guitars

  • @Caveira138 true but i dont think its worth the money. just have a second guitarist and it will sound better. also an epiphone double neck is about $1000, im not sure about gibson. it just doesnt seem logical to me but a rich guy with too much money would lke it

  • @ZenGuy12 You can go to Rondo music and get a double neck for around 500

  • @Caveira138 The double neck checkered tele? hell yeah... wait do they sound good?

  • @Kingddd333 dont know

  • this has got to be fake , theres no volumes or tone knobs on the strat part and its missing the 5 blade switch,

  • lol it fits perfectly

  • i knew it! im right that richie sambora have this, coz i can feel it, and he have also a double neck telecaster for the album have a nice day..

  • ok, my dad owns a pawn shop, and he got in a double neck les paul. how much do you think that would be worth?

  • @ZakkHendrix666 that should be look stupid

  • @kochiyose12 Firstly, get your grammar right. Secondly, are you retarded? Do even know how AWESOME a double neck Les Paul would be?!

  • @guilmon182 oh yeah?? it is counted for me to be not good at grammar coz my country is not english language,as long you can understand me which means you can kiss my fucking BALLS!!!!!! xP

  • @kochiyose12 Well, I'm sorry about the grammar comment. I should've taken into account that you might not be American or English. Also, I have a fiancee, thank you very much! Oh, and you still haven't told me whether or not you realize how awesome a double neck Les Paul would look.

  • @guilmon182 sorry about the rudeness, but having or releasing a les paul double neck is a pain in the ass, it could be much more expensive, and they will create a limited edition for that.which means less people could have that, and besides, im a fender user im not gonna let that lespaul beat the telecaster,.

  • @kochiyose12 Ah, I see. I'm a Gibson man myself, though I think any double neck is awesome, if it's done right. For one thing, I've never seen a double neck Les Paul. At any rate, I see where you're comin' from, so please forgive my earlier statement.

  • @guilmon182 no, forgive me..

  • @kochiyose12 Let's just forget it.

  • @guilmon182 Slash has a double neck les paul. AND he plays a double neck SG check out some of the Guns N Roses live shows and u mite see 1

  • Is it me or that's a Stratocaster and a Telecaster at the same time?

  • Can anybody tell me anything about where I can get a doubleneck fender strat?

  • make one i can tell you how to its piss ezy

  • @TheMuenzer build your own from warmoth

  • Any idea how much?

  • 400 for body no necks pickups or paint

  • This is NOT the first Fender double neck ever. Christopher Cross had one in 1980, theres a video of him playing it on this site. Look Up Sailing Live, youll see.

  • he justifies that, it seems it was handbuilt by the guy who was went on to become head of the custom shop at the time THIS guitar was built, and therefore not a "fender" guitar.

    x

  • as they said. not made at the fender factory

  • a telecaster/stratocaster hybrid is a very amazing instrument. dont believe me? look at one i made myself on my videos!!

  • would love to hear somebody actually play it

  • thats pretty cool...is that a strat and a telecastor mixed?

  • as much as I like the comforts of a normal strat that thing is just plain ugly

  • i love the les paul at 0:32

  • fuck that play comfort on that shit would be horrible

  • does anyone think that a reg burst is better those bursts are ugly in my opinion

  • fender started in the late 40s not in 80s

  • what's your point? we're all well aware that fender started in the 40s.

  • fender -custom shop-

  • fucking awsome .....id get one...

  • dudes its $1844 back when fender started

  • he said $1844 when got build (a lot of years ago) now try to buy it and it will cost like $999999999999999999999999999999

  • $1844, theres crap that cost that these days.

  • the gibson les paul costs $3000 i think.

    its worth every penny :D

  • DUDE, ITS LIKE A STRAT, AND A TELE!

  • oh really? i thought it was a fucking razor back and a sg.......

  • why doesent the tele part have pickups

  • it has a pick up in the bridge position

  • yeah i noticed that earlier but i forgot the video, tanks though

  • It's an esquire

  • except my guitar costs $2000 and it is nice it sounds amazing 2

  • lol my guitar cost 850 dollars

    so 200 is pretty cheap

  • Dude, even my pickups alone cost more than twice than that.

  • Wait a sec...He said it would retail for 2x $1844...If that guy gets a 50% deal straight up, how much profit are these guys (Fender and other big guitar companies) making off of us? $4000 Les Pauls ftl

  • Hij lult wel stoer voor zoon kneuskop

  • Yeah after sixty years they finally come up with the idea to make a double-neck Strat-Tele. Innovative.

  • @SheeopCash I've seen a bunch of warmoth custom strat/tele/double-necks. I don't know why it's even a big deal either, when everyone and their grandpa probably thought of this idea. Stupid companies.

  • actually, fender specially made david gilmour from pink floyd a double neck strat. he rejected it though, because it was really heavy and uncomfortable to play. i read about it in the book about david gilmours black strat. look it up.

  • Cool, and I thougt i knew everything about Pink Floyd

  • it's like a beautiful woman with four boobs,ahaha

  • a girl with four boobs would be ugly

  • cool

    Strat and Tele :D

  • strat and esquire

  • Yeah, you're right.
