Well he does real drums so he must have had some understanding of how fast his hands can move and some drummers use one stick to hit multiple pads on real sets to increase variation in their music. So he probably already had practice doing this

the game marks it with overall difficulty, not just FC-ability. Most of the top drummers can't FC the intro, but probably could the rest of the song. BBF doesn't have any crazy parts, buts still hard throughout whole the song.

I see absolutely no problem using one stick for fun. That adds a hell of a lot more variety to the game challenging yourself in that manner than simply going for top scores all the time. Needless to say.. good drumming man.
