This are excellent videos. I am learning so much that I did not know and wish such material would have been available when I was rearing my children.
As a retired teacher, I would like to add that teaching one's children appropriate manners has to be done by the parents. Teachers would certainly like to address such important issues, but simply do not have the time. It would also be beneficial to be taught in a family living course, however.
It seems like if you season your food after you try it, you would be sending the message "your expertise in seasoning is shitty so now i'm going to bastardize it to my liking" as opposed to preemptively seasoning it sending the message "I like my over priced food extra salty so im just going to go ahead and get that out of the way". Then again the majority of my meals come from a drive-thru or are nuked in the microwave so what do i know.
In our fast food, fast living modern culture we are constantly eating hand food while we jump from coin to coin. Because of our lifestyles, families rarely break bread together anymore. So we learn the basic necessities of filling our stomachs with tasteless mindless fuel.
'I'll eat a drive-thru burger as I drive home dear. Kiss the kids goodnight for me.'
but if u r invited to d restaurant by sm1 it will look like "i know the food here isnt very tasty so im gona season it before".. if u r d one inviting it will luk like u invited that person to a so-so restaurant...i dunno if u get my point..d idea is "dnt judge d book by its cover =taste it then correct/season it if needed"... =)

Great tips, Elena. In 15 minutes I've learned more about tables manners than most people will learn in a lifetime. Thanks!!!
