What is the thinking behind the bracing on the back? Especially the slanted brace seen on yours and sobell instruments, does it have an effect on sound?
im only used to one back graft and four braces!

Looks very streamlined, though personally I use a small block plane for shaping the curve. Routers scare the willies out of me!
