The thing is, people generalise, some Travellers might be messy other might not...but think if it this way...you have no where to stop so you stop on some fields, there is no rubbish skips, no toilets, you are then told you have to go or be arrested so you go...you cant take the rubbish with you as your culture and beliefs stop you from having rubbish or even pets in your caravans...and you are rushed to leave...so you leave. sites are clean unless there is a messy family there

sirlenwells, it's obvious to everyone that you are a wonderful, caring human being - you don't have to prove it by blindly defending every sob story you come across on the news.

Over 80 of the families living on Dale Farm are doing so illegally as they don't have planning permission, that's all there is to it. They are not exempt from the same laws that the rest of us have to obey just because they are a minority group.

Well said, compassion is lacking in society today. The gypsies are a fascinating race, different in many ways, yet nol so different that we can't identify with them. They have criminals, so do we, but they didn't cause the riots or carry out the looting. Get a life and accept the real problems are with our own society who live in houses.
