My "new" favorite effect is a phaser, but with a really slow phase rate on it. Sounds great with a Vox amp (like the AC30 Brad plays). I LOVE the bow effect... heard it at 3rd Service a couple years back. I may have to borrow that one from you! :)
Brad (and band). One of my favorite effects is using delay to do a multi-tap rhythm sound. It's the U2 rhythm sound in "Where the Streets have no Name". Also, listen to"Salvation is Here" by Lincoln Brewster and "Safe" by Phil Wickham! The electric guitar parts (solo and intro, respectively) are laced with this effect, it's really good to build a big sound. FYI, it's a dotted eighth triplet to get that sound :)
@deathfalk Forgot that Page did this. I actually got it from a band from Iceland called Sigur Ros and then I just added some different effects to it. It is funny though
@RedLetterHymnal Besides, what Satan uses for evil, God uses for good. Just like rock music. Some people still believe that because certain bands play with heavier sound that they are not christian. Look at Skillet, Disciple, Red, Building 429. All heavy bands, but the people in them have hearts for God. Idk why i am posting this. So im going to stop writing now. lol
i don't know what the best ordering is, then again i don't use those ridiculously expensive "pure" analog pedals nor am i a professional musician so eh.
@blahblabahl depends, are you intending on making the chorus effect on the overdrive, like in the video? If so I would put overdrive > chorus > tremolo > delay > compressor. In fact, my order is Tuner > Wah > Booster > Overdrive (tubescreamer) > Distortion (Jackhammer) > Compressor. And at the Effects Loop of my amp is Chorus > Delay > Equalizer.
I like the ebow

That's funny, you're using a trick from the most prolific occult guitarist of all time on a Christian rock song, lol.
