@Cforrestwalker You can enjoy it now as much as old gits like me have done for much longer, if anything this sort of stuff is now more readily available that it ever was, all nicely remastered, etc.
I'm 50 years old, I don't go much on modern music (there are more than a few modern day good acts though) but I'm not going to tell youngsters today that older stuff is better, let them decide that for themselves... I've got more than enough good music to go listen to anyway.
Trower Music is better than sex anyway, so I've never been inclined to mixed the two...besides each mode of entertainment has its own glory to it anyway; however, try Led Zeppelin for sport; also, I've enjoyed Trower just fine without drugs--in fact, Robin Trower's music helped me through some really tough times in my youth--I really appreciate his witty, positive edge and beautiful Strat-style, so I'm quite a devout fan and I've kept it clean (LOL)
Masterfull tunes from Robin, always love his guitar thankyou. I found his music in college years back and remember heading to Ralphs records and snagging every album they had by Trower,
80+ miles an hour on an abandon road with windows down, music above concert range, smoking hot middle of the night in our rusted out 69 hearse with smashed windshield and no brakes.30+years ago.WHAT A RIDE.
@MrLazarus535 Trower has a video on youtube explaining his set up. He uses custom built pedals but its all old school stuff anyway. I'm doing this song on a 12 string and after about 4:20 it sounds real good!
This song transports me to a special time, my first apartment, great friends and some easy moments to myself. It was a time when I didn't burden my mind with too much crap and was happy without cable and cell phones. I use to listen to this on an old 60s turntable stereo console and enjoy a beer or two. This song and Daydream were songs I had to hear every evening for a little escape. Daydream was my favorite although it was kind of sad; never the less; a beautiful song. Memorable times
I guess it was subliminal,I listened to this as a kid,i now realize what this song really means ,tho i knew back then! The "gods" are the globalists, the bush family the clintons,,kissinger,I can name them all!.this song coincides with the intro GNR some men you just cant reach, from the movie Cool Hand Luke,I know too much ,but I deal with it,this song is sheer genious!
wow thanks for the upload Egista!I was goin thru the cobwebs of my mind lookin for music,I had this album ,it burned along with my dog in a trailer fire,I had 368 albums countless cassetes
jimi hendrix stevie ray and robin trower i put together a couple of cassetts together but then on auto reverse drop some acid and tell the whole world to go fuck it self and just listen and watch the sun come up in the desert their really isnt any word to explain what it feels like unless you have been their done that then you know what i am saying
I saw Trower in the mid '70's at the San Diego Sports Arena. It was a huge building and I can still remember the pot smoke that "filled" that entire building. If security got your stash when you entered the building, no worry, just breath normally and you will get high. I wonder what people do these days if they want to get high at a concert. You can't light anything up anymore. I no longer get high, but I have to say, back then, we had it made. If you got it thru, you could smoke it.
@RachaelRockstarrr Geez. I don't know why I didn't think of that! Back in the day, I could get anything thru. Security did the standard pat down on your pockets and socks and checked your purse. Obviously I wouldn't put anything in those places (suprised how many actually did). I had really long hair, so I would wear something with a hood, put my booze, bong or whatever in the hood, put safety pin in to hold the hood up and covered it with my hair. 100 percent success rate.
@Msdistarr Hello!,Can't do that now they got tsa agents with hands down the pants soon coming to a town near you .oops your town!infowars is a gr8 site I know of many
I was born in the wrong generation...wish i was living back then music today sucks
