Tip: You can probably save money on gels by either visiting stage lighting suppliers or your local theatre and asking if (for a fair price) they will sell you a cut off from one of their rolls. (This method will be much cheaper than photography shops depending on how friendly your local theatre are!)

hue/saturation adjusts the entire image, unless you take the time to do masks.
gels only affect what the flash hits
